    I recommend taking the door off by the lower front corner near where the bigger speaker grill is, since the one clip there is further away from the other clips, so it'll be easier to take off, and it'll put less pressure on the other clips (which are very easy to break as I found out the hard way).

    Thanks for the clear and instructive structure video. It fave me the confidence to tackle thus project. .I never would gave attempted it otherwise. One thing you said I would echo........ The clips are VERY hard to dislodge. It took so much force I thought I would break something.

    • @TwinbeeUK
      @TwinbeeUK Před 4 lety +2

      I tried and with a ton of force (and using plastic levers in different places and simultaneously) managed to get it off. And guess what... it broke a clip at the same time. Sigh. These clips are NOT very serviceable. Had to use high viscosity superglue and accelerant (3 seconds instead of minutes to set!) to fix it. Anyway, I recommend taking the front bottom of the door (where the bigger speaker grill is) away first, because there's sort of only one clip there, so it'll put less pressure on the other clips. The rest come away easier after that.

    • @CFG39
      @CFG39 Před 5 lety +2

      Not sure if you figured out B Pillar removal yet, but they literally just pop off. I noticed both of my front seat belt adjusters weren’t sitting flush with the b pillar trim and the top of my trim piece was sticking out a little. I popped them off and realized both driver and passenger adjuster rode on a little track (really just a groove they fit onto) and fixed them.

    • @EveryAmp
      @EveryAmp  Před 5 lety +1

      Interesting. The door light can be accessed much easier by just popping it out from the bottom. However it's odd that the LED is out already. More likely a loose plug or bad connection that may require service.

    • @EveryAmp
      @EveryAmp  Před 5 lety +1

      Assuming you're talking about the cover that's low on the door, I don't think you can replace just it. It's molded into the door panel.
