Do love a sporty Renault, 5gtt, 19-16 valve, but all time fav is the 21 turbo, classic lines, super comfy and goes like a rocket, wish I’d kept mine !!! Great review of the Megane 😎

I've drove one of these in the same spec. I kind of get what your saying about having the seat a bit higher. I usually get into a car and put the seat right down. These seats go lower than any car I've sat in.

I'm waiting for the facelifted model with the revised interior. I think this is an affordable future classic if we agree that no one will ever use 4control on a hatch ever again

@@BeckyEvans I went with the lighter silver, I think it's called mercury in the UK (platinum silver where I live). I test drove the normal rs in that color and liked it so I decided to play it safe! I sent you a photo on Instagram in case you've never seen one in silver, will you know who I am by my CZcams name. Cheers!

Don’t know if I agree with the comment on the Type R’s clutch; never had a problem with mine - although I’ve always preferred a heavier clutch
In fact fk8 type R clutch is much lighter and easier to control. Megane rs has got a heavier clutch

I just wish I could drive already especially after all these years of expensive lessons and countless resits for exams. At the moment, I don't care all that much about how basic thr car looks as long as its safe and I can drive it. Any genuine, practical, intensive support eoukf nd great. Thank you in advance.
For 30k people are just going to buy e.g. a Golf R. Maybe this Trophy RS300 will look better when price has depreciated.
