- After many attempts using various items, I finally managed to get quick, consistent results. It's takes around 4-6 seconds to kill him depending on when he is slagged by the Magic Missiles or Pimpernel.

Infection - Requires the completion of the new DLC. This is very important for the necessary damage output to kill him in the first few seconds. Without it, I could not get him low enough before his shield comes up.

Magic Missile x4 - Very important for an almost guarantee slag at the beginning. Slag Transfusion works but I found the Magic Missile to perform the best.

True Neutral Monk - This class mod works the best with Money Shot. Although I was unable to get the maximum Money Shot, it was still enough to do serious work. Getting +6 on Money Shot would be a huge plus.

The Rough Rider - Important for Inconceivable (probably not as important for those with a larger Pimpernel magazine size). Additionally, I believe the offhand gun also benefits from All Out of Bubblegum when shields are depleted as I have noticed a difference, but I am not absolutely certain.

Hey , wanted to say thank you , this method is faster than the fibber/vladof method . Also if I can recommend something the New WorldBurn launcher from the Lilith is an amazing choice to replace the standard launcher for Hyperius cause of it being flame damage . Thank you for this farm !!!!
Glad it helped! I have tried the World Burn but the results were not as great as the Duuurp! that I used. It could be because the World Burns that I used created a wider projectile spread with the Pimpernel.
@@vac6682 maybe a bone of the ancient flame works with it? that is what I used , frankly I didn't even know that the pimpernel inherets the effects of the empty rocket launcher for great moneyshots , THIS is great to just rush any raid boss solo , it makes me salivate on how much I can cut the time farming them now .
The rocket launcher and Pimpernel glitch was especially dominant before the new DLC release. Now the raid bosses have more health and are harder to take down. Hyperius is arguably the easier one to take down with this glitch though.
@@vac6682 it’s because the world burn spawns as fire, for the exploit to work you need explosive. The world burn you need is explosive and a edited because if not it will not convert its dmg over fully I’ve tried it. It works better also with the explosive+ bone of ancients to max out dps fully.
@@vac6682 the world burn I have had a friend made me it does more than any ahab, it’s edited in gib but still it’s just the best dmg dealer even if it’s not legit.
Theres somenthing I don't get, the "infection" thingie, is it like a status from the new DLC? Been looking for a while in the wiki and it just shows me the seraph pistol from the old DLCs lmao
Yep! After completing the DLC, you inherit full immunity from the spore infection. Being infected temporarily gives you boosted damage (more or less around +50%). I fast travel to Dahl Abandon and drive right past the skags and then left to this area with two(?) openings to this area infected by plants and spore gas. Park your car right in front of the entrance, get infected, and get into the car while you’re infected. You get the permanent infection until you save/quit or die.

@@GodEatPotatoes All good! Yes, you have to complete the Fight for Sanctuary DLC to gain immunity to the infection. With this immunity, anytime you go near the infectious gas, it won't eventually hurt you. As you are exposed to the infectious gas and you enter your vehicle at the same time, you are glitched to gain the infinite infection.

@@infinity.yt17 you probably can, although to be fair i dont think it'd be as fast as pimperhabing, especially since theres a bug with hyperius on op10 that gives him 2x health

Where do you aim on his body to get the pellets to all hit every time? I keep missing and failing. Also idk if anything can be done about this but it seems that about 1 in every 3 tries he doesn't get slagged or shakes it off way too quick.
Well it depends, generally you want to aim below the head (or in the middle of the enemy) and make all pellets land. Another factor is that on the launcher you have it may have a part with rocket speed, which makes it way harder for all pellets to land.
@@CLAPTRAPii I ended up getting a higher damage launcher and that pretty much solved it. Rocket speed is the correct speed. Still annoying when he doesn't get slagged tho
It helps if your pimpernel is slag as well because the explosive damage being transferred from your ahab, creamer, etc will still be multiplied by slag being applied from pimpernel
one should probably avoid the neutral prefix on the monk com for this build, as the mag size boost makes getting to your money shot slightly slower. :)
Your right you only need the right pimpernel and can use chaotic evil, I prefer this from the fact of asbestos removes stats effects easily prevents death. I don’t usually run pimpernel combo because I get bored of it.
he probably tried to buff his Duuurp’s mag size to increase the chances of getting a full money shot bonus (since a small mag, like 2 or 3, will not give you the full bonus.) To be fair, if it has like 8 mag, then there is no need for that, it’s better for a Chaotic Evil Monk com at that point
i dont understand what i am doing wrong, I am doing everything the exact same but it isn't working
0 amo in rocket launchers, pimp in left hand, spec into money shot, have a good rocket launcher with hie base dmg in right hand, follow these steps and you can kill anything.
@@nt1388 it’s not working for me either and I have the best RPG in the game with perfect parts. And my pimp is OP 10 and the prefix is gentleman which gives I believe 120% Critical hit damage

Yeah I recommend the creamer thats what I use helps if you dont get the kill then you Dont die
Not really, you’re gonna want a slag pimpernel with the Gentelmen’s prefix, but any high damage launcher will work

Make sure everything's on level. You're doing smth wrong. Execution plays the most part.
@@synt4x1e This is my per peeve in BL2, there is zero margin of error if you want to pull off a raid boss cheese 🧀, everything should be in exact detail
@@rdu239 actually, in this instance the only cause for error is running out of gunzerk, since all you need to do is shoot hyperius with the pimpernel in the foot, with launcher in off hand
Question , does it matter thr type of launcher you get ? It just has to be explosive ? I am still trying to understand Sal mechanic with the offhand . Thank you for this.
I prefer Torgue rocket launchers as they deliver massive amounts of damage for a single projectile. From what I could tell, Torgue rocket launchers are mostly Explosive type but generally other elements work.
@@vac6682 well I meant for the purpose of the farm if you get a World Burn launcher it will be flammable always and you can Kill Hyperious without the need of the infection DlC .

Typically, it’s ideal to find a rocket launcher with a slow projectile speed so that the unique projectile spread from the Pimpernel are not fast and wide. Perhaps the World Burn’s damage compensates for that with a proper build.

Been a while since I played. Last I remember, you need a specific Ahab to maximize the potential of this glitch. However, I found a Duuurp! to be great since it has slow projectile speed.
Most Salvador Players use Ahab Pimpernel duo lol

Yep. Having 0 launcher ammo means that your launcher gets a money shot bonus

he's abusing a bug known as pimperhabing, Having a pimpernel(a unique quest reward sniper rifle) on the off hand and any torgue launcher on the main hand. The damage of the torgue launcher is being transferred over to the pimpernel as a bug, Causing the pimpernel to do insane amounts of damage. Literally works on any boss.
The launcher must be out of ammo tho or else it wont get the money shot bonus and do normal launcher damage

Been a while since I played the game. From what I think I remember, the Duuurp! gives the Pimpernel pellets an even slower velocity, causing more pellets to hit the enemy. It's a weapon that can drop from any loot source but I suggest farming the Torgue machine for one.
@@vac6682 Lemme add, you might want to get all Torgue parts to gain REALLY slow projectiles to maximise the chance of hitting the Pimpernel’s shots

Vinicius Vicente It can but Vora has so much health that it will take longer. In addition, his attacks make it even more difficult to survive.

No. If you have an out of ammo tourgue launcher in the right hand and a pimpernel in the left hand, the pimpernel does the rocket launcher damage making it really strong.
Use the world burn it’s faster

The ahab is worse because the durp has a slower projectile speed
