Its crazy that the Donahue show was more progressive than anything on TV today, but we think we've progressed as a nation. They discussed race and other problems in great detail. B e also spoke out against the iraq war, No wonder they took him off air

Donahue was the MAN; Dick Cavich (sp) was the other MAN. DONAHUE was nobodies yes man and sharp as a whip. I agree with you about why he was fired.

He went off the air because his ratings plummeted after 29 years...local tv stations were bumping his show to late night...The competition was getting stiffed in 1996 in the talk show circuit...He went off in 1996 after 29 years...He pioneered the talk show genre, but around in the mid 90s the shows shifted from ppl airing their dirty laundry...Rosie O Donnell created the "Ellen" type of show...Jerry Springer got trashy, followed by a few others..

Yep they kicked him off MSNBC because he didn't support the war even tho he was their top rated show.

ALL they did was show WHAT'S been & STILL going on.
    Outside of intimidating jury members.

I still blame cosby’s lawyers for not vetting a better pool of jurors.

You don't always know which side the defense attorney is on, especially when high stakes are involved like potentially buying tv stations or rights to your own material.

Some jurists are not chosen by the judge because they know that if selected the possible jurist would point out his bias, and the fear would be that this one can think for him-or herself, who will not go along with the majority, just because they are the majority.
There is a need to quit calling the woman a. "native American," and just call her a woman or point to her as a wife. This comment is already prejudicial.

what would it be if the "judge" stated that you can't pick all male, or all female, old or young if it's YOUR choice to make?
Seems like it would be jury tampering or something like that to me, but I am no law expert HAHA

  • @ms.gwendolynpittmantharpe9817

No+ Donahue show no longer exist However it shows how a jury is picked analysts do the 💼 along with the procurator, unfortunately, the analysts were prejudice and being black has a lot to do with cases/ complex issues when it comes to high profile cases except when it's dealing with the MOB it's hard to even get a judge to preside over the trial case nor take the "Gambino" case no one wanted to touch are bring any indictment charges it took a federal judge and that judge demanded protection for himself and his family, in my opinion, the justice system are full of bull s*"*t the system is set up for the rich 🤑and the poor is doom and being black you stand no chance in being pick for a high profile case personally I wouldn't want to be on no man jury because the justice system has failed many that were innocent good clip of gone Donahue show. Thanks, reelblack

True. Both the prosecutor and defense lawyer was hard balling the black juror and barely allowed him to speak. Yet they were easy on the white jurors and allowed them to form their own opinions.
