Great discussion! I wish more Americans would listen to this. We are indeed at a crossroads; we may end up living under authoritarian rule and lose our American way of life if Trump wins in 2024.

    most important voices in
    these horrendous years
of this brutal lesson turned upon the American

There are couple of things to realize and understand.
    1. The bark of American fascists is bigger than their bite.
    2. As long as democracy lover Americans ALWAYS vote, American fascists will keep reducing in size.
    3. After 2016 Trump victory, American fascists have always lost in every election.
    4. Democracy and constitution lovers, just need to continue to vote and keep this trend going. And if you do that, then please do not blame Joe Biden for high grocery prices, when your income has gone up significantly, to makeup for that.

Respectfully, those statements tend to be a bit naive and/or somewhat wrong.
Statemet #2: We KNOW that American voting patterns are notoriously variable-to-low, depending on many factors, especially when compared to a number of other countries. And where is the eveidence that American fascists would 'keep reducing in size'? They are in the news more today than they were in 2010-2016.
Look at the newer distruptive groups and people out there: DeSantis gets voted in in Florida and begins restricting, dismantling and destroying educational elements in; so called 'Moms for Liberty' (which has been designated as a domestic terrorist group by the _Southern Poverty Law Center_ ) doing the same, pressuring libraries and schools to ban books and censor teaching historical facts; increasing pressure, lies and political and social intimidation by right-wing/GOP politicians and their supporters; increased/increasing attacks and violence against those of color or who are different in some non-mainstream character; even more despicable, lying, authoritarian clowns running for office, from the local level all the way up to the federal level (see Vivek Ramaswamy), and on and on it goes.
Statement #3: After 2016, every American fascist has lost every election. Not so sure about that. Check out DeSantis, and others. Even those that did lose, like Kari Lake on Arizona still got healthy numbers of votes. It's not as if these people lost in landslides. Listen to some of what they discussed in this podcast: the question was asked as to why after all the proven bullcrap that has gone on within the Trump era do significant numbers of voters still support that fascist? There is still _plenty_ of dangerous levels of support out there for these fascists that keeps us teetering at the edge.
Statement #4: Scrutinizing Biden's record, over the past 4 years is spotty at best when considering what he _could have pushed for and the kind of pressure and strength needed at this dangerous and precarious point in US and world and history._
