This episode removes all doubts -- Lemmo owns this gig.
There were never any doubts.. Not one. From the first Lemmo Demo to the first Mike GOTD.. He's owned them all.
Love it when Jen has to crack the whip to make them get started
She's in a hurry to go see Lion King movie
Holy Sh/t. Even on my phone I can feel this guitar.
I know he's got records out and he has performed and performs around LA and elsewhere, but good God Lemmo has talent that EVERYONE needs to hear.
This D-28's been 'loved'. Thats why it sounds so good.
If Lemmo puts out an album I would buy it
Guitar Express what about the lemmo demo
He has an album called Demo. It’s on iTunes and probably spotify too.
That’s so great! I love Michael’s original music. He’s so good. I could listen to his songs all day. This one was special. Loved it. Great job.
I hit like as soon as Lemmo said "DADGAD".
The overtones on this martin sound GREAT!!!!
Lemmo just puts on a show everytime. His vocals has so much authenticity next to his guitar pickin’. Helluva job brotha
Beautiful playing.......again.
He's quite a guitarist that is some Talent
First time I came to this channel was to listen to an amazing guitar. Now I keep coming back to listen to this incredible musician playing amazing guitars.
A rare treat when we hear Lemmo sing as well as blow us away with his licks , one of the most creative and original musicians I've ever heard. A great guitar too , Martin seems to have the edge when it comes to acoustic guitars , such a rich resonant tone all over the fingerboard , powerful and colorful , very cool. Well done guys , thanks Joel , Lemmo and Jen.
I often feel like I live in some sorta bizzaro world where everything is backwards. "Rock"/pop stars who can't play an instrument while Lemmo is a salesman is one of those things. He's a world class musician who would be famous in a good world, or in another time.
Have you met bizzaro Jerry yet?
Fargas
Beautiful song Michael
That was an excellent song that you sang. Thanks
Lemmo, that was just beautiful man!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Just like my Martin D-28, sounded great, thanks crew, we really enjoyed it.
So much love for Lemmo originals and singing!
Dude that was some amazing guitar work, nice job lemmo
I dig this so much
That was friggin' great Lemmo ! Thanks Jen !
I love how he looks so humble after he displays such talent
BTW, Jen is killing it with the filming. the shot of Lemmo with the out-of-focus headstocks in the foreground at 10:35 was awesome. The shots she had from the headstock showing down the fretboard in a recent video with Lemmo playing were fantastic too.
great playing
Flat top Friday baby! Lemmo 🙌👏👏👏👏🙌
Two really good songs
Michael when the fuck is your album coming out because goddamn you’re amazing and inspiring
Probably the best sound representation of a vintage Brazilian Rosewood D-28 on CZcams! Brilliant work 💯
That sustain is just otherworldly. It doesn't quit until you make it.
So nice to hear something new and original on trusty old Marin. Like brand new furniture made from old chisels and planes only ....BETTER!
I think it’s Great having Joel on FTF😃 And Great playing as usual Lemmo!!
Talento puro
I love your original material and your guitar playing, I just wish you say the name of your songs. 👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent. Just plain excellent.
Perfect Episode, D28…Joel giving details and Lemo singing!!!
oh man i really love all of you guys. all them guitars there look like there loved ass well. they look happy.
Amazing
DADGAD
Like walking on the moon.
Love Martin's.
Bob
Thank Mr. Lemmo for more beautiful music. You continue to prove that you are a cool futher mucker!
Authentic Lemmo, Authentic Martin!!!
Great song, Michael. Keep it up.
Hey nice shirt mike!! My wife and I just took our son and our nephew to monster jam at Gillette stadium. I love those trucks!! Back flips and front flips!! Too cool 😎
Always fun to see a D-28 on these episodes! One of my favourite models still around! However! Gotta do a Maton!
You always say that. Can you name two famous tunes performed on an Australian Maton?
@@lotharroberts5978 anything by Tommy Emmanuel, Josh Homme used his Maton's on several QOTSA and Them Crooked Vultures tracks, if you watch the video for No One Knows he's playing a Maton model which he used in the recording
@@Smagledorf You're forgetting Keith Richards. He played one on 'Gimme Shelter'.
@@lotharroberts5978 and George Harrison but the dude wanted only two examples lol
@@Smagledorf Years ago I emailed Maton Guitars in AUS and suggested they promote that Keith Richards played a Maton on 'Midnight Rambler' and 'Gimme Shelter'. A nice lady emailed me back and said "what a great idea!" She was being polite. I'm not too hip on these new bands that play them, but I'm glad they are.
Awesome guitar
Bravo Mike, good job Jenn!
Exceptional playing and sound really enjoyed it funny intro 🤣😂👍🏼
Great job Mike !
Amazing song Michael Lemmo.
Great guitar and cool songs. What more do we need?
That was awesome
Mark who? That Michael Lemmo is the MAN! What an excellent way to bring out the beauty of this amazing sounding original Martin! BTW just kidding MA we still love ya man!
Lemmo stepped up his game with singing, very, very awesome!!!! Not that your playing isn't at the same level or better. Thanks man for another great performance
Michael could make my 2015 D-18 sound just as amazing!
Awesome Lemmo!
Sounds great Mr. Lemmo
Lemmo that was really nice!!!!!
Lemmo does this well-aged D-28 justice!
really cool ...
Very nice tune there dude. the guitar is sweet also. We have a handful of nice 60s and 70s acoustics here in our studio. Thanks
Very nice Mike.
Awesome monster jam T-shirt too!
That's some BEAUTIFUL straight grained Brazilian!
sick
Great voice somewhere between prince and David Bowie!
voice reminds me a lot of Ryan Adams
that riff of yours at 4:58 reminds me of Silly Love Songs by Paul Mccartney's & Wings .. Love your originals lemmo
Wonderful, Michael. Absolutely, wonderful. This should mean a lot because I'm actually a jerk.
Martins always sound amazing but the playing is what made it sing and the last song wow
Hell yeah
Nice my birth year
I’m still here but on borrowed time.
good show. but wouldn't expect any less from a musician working at normans
Way to bare your sole Michael; you owned that and it was beautiful.

The thing about Martins is, they aren't very bassy. They aren't very middy either. They especially aren't trebley. They are the perfect mix of high and lows, all mixed into a single sound. This is why Martins are so good. They are a one-piece band instrument. A single chord is all you need.
Kool!
Just keep playing Michael Lemmo! You're the best!
"The boss says if he catches Norm selling any non Gibsons again, he's in big trouble."- Mark
That Lemmo should sing all the time!
2nd comment Singing was great too he really went there 👍🏼👌🏼
At one part it sounded like the guitar had a natural delay, fantastic song man👍
Mike, nice song, like the singing. I think you should try: I wanted you to stay in place of the alright line. Playing is outstanding.
I like Gibson's but I think Martin's sound better.
Very astute Captain Obvious.......
The way I always figured it, having had several of each, Gibsons are for strummer/singers and Martins are for people who play notes.
Wow! That took you a long time to say out loud...
Well of course now that I'm captain obvious.
I agree that Martin’s are generally better sounding but the best sounding acoustic I’ve ever heard is that ‘38 Gibson Jumbo they did a few months back.
I was looking at the Bridge and Pins. Wondering if the pins were slotted or unslotted?
Please do a Angels and Airwaves vibe
I wish I knew the tuning for the second song it’s so good.
I'm simple man. I see Lemmo with a stunning Martin and I press "like" :)
I feel an emerging love between Jen and Lemmo.
Yo I am a keyboard and Push player. I love your work. I am in NOLA . I am also a guitar player .Started on guitar and Bass As I try to write this to tell u who I am I have to Brag, and I don't want to be that guy..So when I get to Norms I would like to talk to u. about being in your band!
Stay at Norms please but stretch out . There are a lot of great arrangers keyboardist ECT .I think I may be the one that works for you. See U at Norm's !!! !!!!! !!!
he good :)
No doubt Mike is the King of Normans playes. Put out a original album so I can get it.
역시 마틴 D28네 굿♡
Show some of Joel´s work with the guitars sometime. Let him explain some of what he do, like reseting necks.
Love me some Lemmo but it would have been cool if did some Tony Rice style G runs, hammer ons etc. Just a little bluegrass, it’s a D-28!
Lemmo is great, but he should have done at least one folk/bluegrass/traditional song when playing a 1960 D-28. Loved it when Mark played at least one song that was appropriate to the period of the guitar he was demonstrating.
Top wood, back and sides wood?
Grave Digger!! 🤘🤘
I'm starting to think the next person Gibson hires is Jen. I'm starting to realize she IS GOTD. Mark looks restricted on the Gibson channel and Lemmo needs her direction. This whole time it's been Jen. Nice playing Lemmo. 👍
The Keto Life I think Fender is going for Jen 👍🏻❤️
@@localguy8 lol. It's not a bad idea. They need something. Norm I think would lose his mind. 😁
Lemmo, Ace🤙
Just waiting for you to play wish you were here with a D-28
