Not sure if you did, but one thing I always do when taking a solenoid coil off to use a magnet, is at least stick a large screwdriver through the coil while it’s removed. On purgers, when I run water to flush out the bubbler, I put the purger in the off position/mode, and I still put a screwdriver through the coil. Just in case! I’d hate for the purger to run a purge cycle with that coil off the plunger stem 😬
@allianceTechNH3 what cleaner are you using inside the bubble chamber? I usually use a little simple green an a brush. What your using seems to work really well.
A anhydrator can’t remove non-condensables. Only water and oil. If your systems have lots water in them you should fix that problem first. Why do you have so much water in your closed loop system???
@@alliancetechnh3368; Believe it or not, we have a client who literally opened up a sight glass on a vessel and ran a hose (edit: a water hose, to be clear) into the vessel thinking he was “flushing it out,” for whatever reason. I haven’t gotten the full story, but needless to say, the contamination from that type of “maintenance,” is haunting that facility to this day. That system does have an anhydrator, but that system has a number of issues that anhydrator can’t fix, let alone the mountain of other issues. That’s how things go in Vernon 🤣
@@alliancetechnh3368 we don’t have an issue with water/oil, I’m just saying I’d rather have an Anhydrator and a normal purger rather then purger plus. That’s just me personally
We have a distiller (maybe same thing as anhydrator, we just call it distiller) and non electric auto purger. I wish we had this version of a purger because we rebuild our NEAP every year and it doesn't seem to do much purging and I know we getting air in system when we do repairs. I sometimes test the water with pH strips and never get anything out. I keep telling the boss but he doesn't seem to mind.
