Fading Steps:
1st step, guideline with zero (stay low with it)
2nd step, guideline with .5 (no guard lever open)
3rd step, guideline 1.5
4th step, 2.5 blend up
5th step, blend out top guideline w/ 1.5 guard open to 3 qtr
6th step, blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
7th step, continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open to 3 qtr
8th step, blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
9th step, open lever half way, continue blending
10th step, continue blending with lever open
13th step, do any touch up work
14th step, use trimmers to take out bottom hair
15th step, use electric shaver
16th step, trim hair w scissors ( 2 fingers from scalp)
17th step, add texture ( create peaks and valleys without taking length off)

Where do you get your guards that fit those clippers?
Any wall guards fit these clippers you can buy them at Sally’s
Cherry c blossom guards on Amazon smack😂or the color version they sell to Marty blends uses those other branded combs too but their colored and roughly 35$ I think but it’s worth it in my opinion color guards go a long way to making you go faster so you don’t read the numbers in case cause 1 and 1 1/2 to 2 can get confusing in all black cherry c blossom version but their pretty good to I got them! Love the 1 1/2 guard but this set was 27$ I think and for color maybe was higher tbh like 40$😂but I should’ve got the colored but yea hopefully it helps for future preference or testing
