Thank you, Corey, for encouraging me to sew. I’m 82 and have been quilting since the 70’s, but at my age, I tend to lose my quilting mojo. Your streams are so full of positive encouragement, and I love your beautiful fabrics! I have my sun washed fat quarters and a layer cake and am all set to get started on the Cakewalk sewalong! I taught my daughter how to quilt and she has not only become a meticulous piecer, but has also become very good at using my longarm. I’m thrilled that quilting has become popular with younger women..and men, too! Keep on designing and sharing the joy you bring to us every week.
Jan Harkness I am 77 and a couple years ago lost my mojo. I went back to my quilting group and I was ready for another quilt. Maybe we need to start us a group of seniors quilting lol. Take care Jan
I watch lots of videos...love to see videos of the same quilt blocks placed in different settings to show them as different quilts. I love all things quilty tho!
Would love to quilt with anyone in Tucson AZ
Yes Corey, a tutorial on the cup cake mix papers would be great. Oh my gosh, the quilt you made is gorgeous with that fabric. WOW.
I’m 69 been quilting since Eleanor Burns Quilt in a day classes, now retired in AZ. Still love quilting ❤❤
Yay!...quilting for the win. =)
Watching quilting videos is kind of my evening obsession! I love seeing everyone’s ideas and methods. I have only made about a dozen quilts but I am learning more every day.
A cup cake mix and and layer cake mix tutorial would be fantastic!
I am 65 and just starting my quilting journey with retirement. Thanks for sharing the beautiful quilts designed in this segment. Look forward to many more. Loved the colors.
Hi Corey!! Thank you so much for this shot at winning this amazing Moda Mystery Box!!! I Love Moda fabrics!! I love how you design a quilt and show us 3 options for laying out the block to create a whole different look!! It really helps me with visual options. So, more videos with options for layouts would be Great! Thank you again!
Thank you Corey for sharing your mystery box. your videos are very good and I look forward to more. It is enjoyable to see the quilts you make and sharing new techniques. I have made a quilt top from one of your free patterns, and it was well written and easy to follow. Keep calm & quilt on!!
My favorite videos include your positive thoughts regarding quilting. It doesn't matter if you are verbalizing your thought process, giving design tips, sharing fabric lines, or piecing blocks. Your personality is so bright and beautiful, even when Tigs pays an unexpected visit while you are filming.
Saturday morning is becoming my favorite time of the week! A cup of tea and a Coriander Quilt video is a wonderful way to start the weekend.
I agree! It's such a happy way to start the weekend!
I totally agree. She really inspires me
Thanks Corey
I love your fun and cheerful teaching method . I have only been quilting for the last 5 years .
Your Instill confidence in your videos.
I like the piecing videos. Thx, Nina
love quilting..i am not a beginner but enjoy seeing what you are doing! I have been quilting through many turns of popular colors and styles in my 75 years of sewing. this last year I sewed together and quilted a friendship quilt my mother and her friends exchanged when I was about 6 years old..
Corey, I love how you walked us through your process of choosing a design. I think a tutorial on the cup cake mix would be great. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us rookies!
I have not tried papers. A tutorial would be nice.
Saturday morning with Corey showcasing her projects is one of my favorite things to watch while enjoying my coffee or tea.
Me too!
Corey, your energy is contagious! Thank you for sharing your patterns, fabrics and thoughts. That is what I most like to watch.
I am a first time viewer and quilter. Thank you for sharing your mystery box and I like that open seam press and the light. Looking forward to all the new projects and ideas for my new quilting life. Thanks
I’d love to see how the Cupcake Mixes come together.
My favorite type of videos…I guess I like how honest and humble you are so it’s easy to like all your content.
Thanks to you and Moda for your generosity! I love the way the two quilts turned out!
I remember seeing a quilt on another channel, several years ago, admiring the color choices and finding out it was your fabric. It was such an inspiration, calming, yet beautiful and every time I saw a quilt after that I knew immediately if it was yours. I'm so happy to find your weekly creations, you're quilt tops and other examples are artistic expressions, from your name to pillow top.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos. I like when you explain your thought process like you did in choosing what pattern to choose with that fabric in the Moda box. It is great to have such an accomplished quilter share her tips and tricks! Thank you so much for the videos! They make my day!
I am a new Quilter and I just found you. I’ve sun since I was 12 years old. I am now 64 and just starting quilting. But it is definitely my new passion. I appreciate the videos. They’re so helpful.
I'm so glad you stumbled upon my channel!
I love QAL videos, free patterns and seeing new fabric lines. All of your videos are pure joy Corey!
I love the patterns you chose Corey - they are really highlighting the fabrics 😊 I need some of your energy,I would get a whole lot more done!!!
As a relatively new quilter, I love watching tutorials, it’s sew much easier to learn that way.
Your creativity and love of designing comes through in your videos. I enjoy videos that introduces new tools, tips and patterns that helps me in my quilting journey.
I love your videos Cori. I really love fast and easy quilts to complete quickly, as I always have more complicated WIP projects going with the BOM’s I’m doing. So having some easy and quick projects is wonderful. I also always enjoy tutorials. Thanks for inspiring us!
Yes, I would like a tutorial on the cupcake mix paper since you give the BEST step by step instructions.
I was already a subscriber on my TV, so I had to subscribe again here! I especially enjoy videos where you walk us through how you come up with your creative ideas, and I always appreciate how positive and energetic you are…inspiring for a senior quilter, so thank you! ☮️🧘♀️🤗
Thank you Corey!! What a great opportunity to learn new techniques from watching your videos. I love all quilting videos but especially "scrappy" quilts. I love the unpredictability of the finished product and that no 2 quilts are the same even from the same beginning information. Thank you for sharing your techniques and showing some of the new products.
Hi Corey, since we lived overseas for many years due to my husband's military career, it was impossible for me to enroll in quilting classes or watch any of these quilting programs. I recently found you and I’m fascinated with your tutorial videos. I don’t consider myself a beginner but I'm not intermediate either. I love your tutorial about Hand Quilting and I would like to try it. I am very grateful for your enthusiasm, motivation, passion, for sharing your techniques, etc. Thank you!!
As a newbie to quilting, I’d really like to thank you Corey for making me feel like I actually might be able to do this! Lol 😊
I picked up quilting during the pandemic and my last year of graduate school. As a fairly new quilter, I really enjoy quilting videos that share tips and different options for piecing or putting together their quilts. For example, I like how this channel is so positive and how different options and explanations are shared for how the block is pieced, and why this notion is preferred over another. The encouragement and positivity is so helpful!
Sew much fun!!! I love watching videos that show how to put blocks together with tips and tricks to using them in quilts. 💜
I enjoyed that you tried the new products on the market and gave your honest critiques of their value to you in the quilt making process. Thank you! Your video’s are very enjoyable!
Your face radiates positivity and joy, and your cheery voice uplifts me. I've loved hearing about your mother and your quilting heritage, as well as now you yourself began quilting. Seeing how you combine fabrics - colors and designs - helps expand possibilities for me as I attempt to select fabrics for quilts. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and letting us see the results of your ideas + your labors = beautiful quilts.
I forgot to add that I love how cheery you always are in your videos and I bet you are a great friend to have. So uplifting. Thank Ryan for filming and missed Tigs today.
I really enjoyed this video and finding another educational quilting channel. Thank you.
Corey, this was so much fun! Variety is the spice of life, so all kinds of tutorials will be fun. I really enjoy the mix of tools and techniques with the quilt pattern. See you soon, Grace
I love seeing a pattern made multiple times in different fabric lines. This really helps me see multiple possibilities. Love the low volume and red version. So classic!
It was like watching a massive Christmas gift being open and both my eyes and mouth were open wide with each thing you pulled out :D I'd really love to see notions being used, I've been quilting for over 40 years but there are SO many notions like that pressing stick that I never even knew existed to help make my sewing go smoother. ❤❤😊😊
Hi Corey, I am new to quilting, almost 2 years and learning a massive amount. I love it.❤Thank you for such great info and instruction. You are too cute. I’m excited about this give away as well!
I just love trying new products. I got my love of quilting from my mom. She made hundreds of them for family, friends and special requested ones. Wonderful way to past time.
You instill confidence in every level quilter! You are genuine.Keep any and all how to videos coming our way. We all appreciate what you bring to the quilting community. Thank you.
I just found your CZcams channel today. I am a novice quilter, but, an experienced sewist. I enjoyed how you made sample blocks and explained your decisions on why some fabrics worked well together, or why some fabric combos didn’t achieve your vision. I think that advice is so helpful to newbies to quilting like myself. Your quilts are lovely. I learned a lot from this video. Thank you. You are so down to earth friendly and kind and engaging to your audience. You are a natural teacher.
Thanks for the great step by step process you go through to come up with your design! I love ideas for fat quarters so please continue to give us ideas about that! Love the Moda Mystery box! Thanks for sharing- And YES! Please show us how to use the cake mix!❤
Thank you, Corey, for your wonderful and engaging videos. Your videos and tutorials always seem very personal like we are all sitting together with you and Mr. Tig oohing and aahing over gorgeous fabrics and learning new things. I really love your fabric lines and the beautiful block and quilt patterns you create. I also love the SAL's. They have a way of making quilters feel connected with each other.
I enjoy seeing how different color waves can effect the outcome of a pattern. This video certainly did!!! Thank you for offering us the extra box of fun!
I love to see videos where you explain your design process and how you make fabric choices. You are a gem and I appreciate all that you have contributed to my quilting journey.
Thank you Corey. I like watching quilting videos that show me as a newbie tricks I can use to speed things up and the techniques used in making quilts.
I love the goodies in the mystery box. Your quilt is so sweet! The soft pastel colours are really appealing. Also the quilt blocks are so easy to assemble. This will be a neat quilt to add to the list! Thanx, Cori.
Have been quilting more than 35 years, the pressing tool is something I have never tried or a clapper, LOL. The pattern for both looks like a fun and quick one to make a quilt with. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift with all of us ❤
Corey, you have a heart warming way of engaging all of us quilters! I always love to see the demos like the Scrappy Irish Chain quilt and also how you envision fabrics in a quilt! Your love of quilting is contagious! Thank you!
I love your carefree feeling of your quilts. Can’t wait to make one with you. A great go to quick pattern for “using” quilts or charity! Thank you.
I agree!
I love your quilt alongs making blocks and love you big stitch quilting examples! With all the craziness in the world it’s so nice to watch your cheerful, happy personality sharing quilting! You’re wonderful.
This is so nice of you to say....thank you!
Thanks, Corey, for another great video! It was so fun to see you take the notions and fabric bundles in the mystery box and actually test and use them. I especially loved watching how your creativity worked to create the beautiful new "scrappy" quilt! I'd love to make one too and look forward to a pattern.
I love the pattern you used for these two quilts....and how different they looked because of the fabrics used in each one.
Since this is the size quilt I prefer to make, I'd love to see more simple yet interesting patterns like this one, done up in two different fabric lines/layouts and showing how different they can look!
I really like the videos you do showing quilts and patterns that you’ve remade using different fabrics and colours than the original was done in. It really helps in creating new ideas and possibilities
This is the tutorial best on any mystery box I have watched. The box had great sewing supplies, except the mug, and enough fabric to make a quilt. Plus, the notions are something that are very useable and helpful.
Having you make a couple quilts made the idea of buying a mystery box worthwhile.
I'm so glad you enjoyed watching!...it was a fun project to team up with Moda on. =)
Love, love, the fabric. And the magic pins. And the little light! Everything, really!
Oh my goodness, how did I never find your channel before today? You are one of my favorite designers, and I loved watching you create these quilts.
Yes! Please do a cupcake mix tutorial. I love to watch videos about new notions, techniques and tools. I love to watch box openings of the newest fabric lines and learn to recognize the styles of the designers. I knew your work before I found your channel because of box openings. This was fun.
I love quilting videos that show me different kinds of techniques. Your videos always inspire me and I am so glad I found them.
I love watching your videos because I'm a new quilter and the videos really help me learn new quilting techniques and helps answer questions I am pondering. Thank you so much. Also love how cheery you are.
My favorite quilts are pieced blocks. Especially when the blocks form a secondary pattern. That is so fun. Love your positivity and cheerfulness.
I love to see how you develop your designs and choose fabrics for new quilts, it is always such a joy to watch your videos 🙂
I really enjoyed watching the box opening. My favorite type of quilting videos is how to simplify cutting and piecing my quilt. The short-cuts are so wonderful. Thank you so much for the work you put into quilting and sharing. Much appreciated.
You are so welcome!...I'm so glad you enjoyed watching!
Wow!! Look at that, love all those notions and fabric.. Thank you Corey for all the great ideas and instructions you provide. I am two years new to quilting and love it all so far!
I enjoy watching people open mystery boxes! That’s why I tuned into your channel. I am also a quilter
I would love to see a video on using the cupcake recipe cards! Also, I am so interested in how you designed your blocks….you are so talented! Thank you for teaching me so much about quilting!
I agree with this comment.
I started quilting 4 years ago and enjoy videos that share processes that make quilting easier and better
I like all of your videos. I like seeing your new fabrics and the blocks you make them. ❤
Just recently found you! I am quickly becoming a “groupie” 😂 Since I am always trying to improve my sewing and quilting skills, I love tips and tricks segments. Also, I’m really drawn to your designs and your uplifting and inspiring personality.
I'm fascinated by how you took two bundles of colors and made them look so good as quilts. Vision is what I lack in my quilting and you have it in spades. Your design tips and fabric suggestions make me want to do all the things! Keep making videos and I'll keep watching!
I have been quilting for only a few years. My favorite patterns to learn are the ones that start as a simple block. Then you cut them and sew them back together, like a disappearing 9-patch. I love the “wow”factor and comments I get from my quilt recipients. I have made about 45 quilts in the past three years, most of which were lap quilts, and have given every one of them away. That is the reason I quilt. I enjoy the process of making the quilts and very much look forward to giving them each a loving home.
Really I love all of you U-Tube videos. Love that the cat is always wanting to be in them!!! My favorite quilting videos are when you show us how you sew, construct and all of you great hints on what worked for you. I love your up beat, excited attitude. Just makes me want to get in the sewing room and make something beautiful for someone. Thank you for all your hard work to put out the videos!
You’re how to quilting videos are most helpful. You have such positivity when showing even a particularly difficult block that you make a beginner feel confident.
I love watching you talk about your new fabric lines and new patterns that’s coming soon. Also love your quilt alongs.
I love seeing the videos you make that feature your fabric lines and new quilts when they first come out.
Love your videos, especially scrappy quilts. Thank you for your bubbly personality, makes my day! Blessings
I came across your channel a couple of weeks ago and find myself checking back daily so I can watch new posts as soon as possible! My favorite videos that you make are when you show us piecing tutorials because I enjoy your style so much, but your personality and designs are both beautiful, so I truly have enjoyed every video of yours. Have a wonderful day!
I like the videos that include your tips for piecing and your electric quilt Print-outs of the different pattern options for a single block! You’re very pleasant to watch and the cat needs a few more cameos 😊
Yes a Cupcake tutorial would be fun…Thank you Corey.
I love watching your videos! Your instructions are clear and easy to follow as well as entertaining. I love learning new quilt patterns and it is hard to pick a favorite. I look forward to watching more of your ideas come to life!
Corey, just started watching this year. I just like watching the thought process and how you work. It makes my brain think and create. I love your patters. Just keep doing what you're doing!
I like your tutorials when you show how various fabrics go together to result in an awesome block. I like it especially when you use your fabric designs as your color palettes are always so bright, cheerful and wholesome. Thank you!
My favorite videos are of quilt projects. They give me new ideas to try and I always like seeing what someone else is making. I really like the two quilts you made in this video.
The type of quilting video I most enjoy watching is when you take a precut and show us the different patterns we can make with it. Love this pattern you designed with the fat quarters and look forward to your sharing it with us in the future! Really enjoyed the video I watched today too about honey buns and all the different patterns out there using one! Thanks so much for all the inspiration, Corey! and...yes, would love to see a tutorial on using the cupcake mix recipe cards!
What fun, Corey!!! I have anxiously been awaiting this video, and you did not disappoint! That wooly bar does look like it would be very handy. I recieved a wool pressing mat for Christmas and have been surprised at how well it works. I really enjoy tutorials, and sneak peek videos. I learn better by seeing things done, rather that reading directions. Also, it is always nice to see what is coming up, so I can budget accordingly, and plan.
As a beginner quilter, I love how you show the different ways fabrics can go together. Before watching your tutorials I was always concerned about my quilts being too busy.
I really enjoy WIP videos, completed works videos, and showcasing upcoming fabric collections vids are my top favorite!!
What a bright quilting video! You make choosing fabrics and patterns so much fun.
I came across you by chance and thoroughly enjoyed watching, thank you, I subscribed so that I can follow more of your ideas, cheers from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
I am new to quilting and greatly enjoy any tutorials that I can learn from. I especially like tutorials on creating blocks and tips on fabric selection. I enjoy listening to your videos while I work so sometimes I just like videos that are easy listening and not very technical. Your positivity is so uplifting!!
I would love hearing more about your design process, both for fabrics and quilt patterns. ❤
I am very interested in that as well.
I love to watch your channel. I have been watching for a little less than a year, but I did do your Oh Happy Day Sampler quilt along and enjoyed it so much! I plan to do the Sunwashed quilt block of the month. I so enjoy your fresh sunny personality and creativity. Keep it coming!!! Thanks so much!!!
Greetings from Montana! What a fun video that was. Like a mini Christmas!! I would love to see more fat eight patterns and videos. I feel that in the world of precuts, I need to balance usability with budget, and fat eighths just seem to be the perfect balance. Thank you for all the time you spend producing videos for us. Your cheerfulness and enthusiasm for quilting is so contagious!!
I do love to learn, and honestly, that's been an important part of my life's journey. I added quilting (to honor my Great Grandmother) as a skill I wanted before I retired. Classes are rarely available for hand piecers/quilters, so I learn a lot from the information provided in videos. Yours have become a favorite for many reasons. I really love your positive approach, your shared joys, your encouragement, your humility, your expertise, and the countless ways you offer your own thoughts on fabric choices, pattern designs, and color arrangements. I learn from you, and yet you feel more like a mentor than a teacher. Thank you so much.
I love this! I’m a newer quilter. I sew bags and clothes, but love to sew quilt blocks. They so relaxing.
Thanks Corey. I sure enjoyed seeing all the things in the mystery box. I am finished with my Spring Brook Blossom quilt and loved making it. I have several other patterns of yours I am looking forward to making as well. Looking forward to seeing which lucky quilter wins a mystery box. Happy Sewing!
My favorite part of CZcams is instructions on block construction. I started making what I call " block study", meaning for my own need to make most of the quilt patterns I dream about, this allows me to make 1 or more blocks instead of the whole quilt, unless I love it. My daughter suggested this after I was overwhelmed by the need to keep cutting so many patterns, and adding to my already huge stack of ufo bins. Over the last 2 years, I've gifted 22 18inch pillow covers.
A layer cake tutorial would be great!
Yesss! Layer cakes are my favorite. 💕
Ohmigosh, I had never seen a pressing stick, just finished a quilt with 80+ blocks I had to press open! That stick went right on my wish list. Love videos where quilt creators share their thought process and the notions they used to create their quilts. Thanks for sharing the mystery box.
Hi Cori, wonderful video! I really enjoyed seeing what Moda sent you, especially since you used the items and showed us! That light may help when I am on the road sewing. I never know where I’ll be sewing! Your quilts turned out beautifully…I loved both fabric collections! How awesome Moda is sharing a give away with us! It would be a treasure box to win. Hugs, ❤️ Suzanne
I would like to have more fat quarter quilt tutorials or even layer cake tutorials. I have several of your collections as I love the colors Just need to get busy and make them. You are such an inspiration to all quilters. Keep writing all those wonderful patterns and coming up with such fantastic fabric collections.
Thanks so much! I do have a fat quarter quilt tutorial I hope to film in the next two weeks.
What a neat quilty box of fun items. I love Brenda Riddles fabric. I truly liked what you came up with to show case that fabric line. I love to watch quilt videos while I work on my hand embroidery..
