Love FL. I’m in Tampa and love the vibes. Always something to do. However, I’d much rather live in Miami, Hialeah, Jacksonville or Orlando. There’s more to do there and Miami’s beaches are better IMO

Quality of life in Orlando is EH. I’ve lived here for 5 years and I want to go back to south Florida 😂 yeah there’s a lot to do but it’s all priced as tourist traps so it’s incredibly unaffordable for locals to do shit. Unless you stay in downtown/ mills area. It is a lil more affordable than Miami though.

Vacationing is a different experience than living here. When you move here it is like a complete culture shock. People carry guns, tout Trump Flags on their larger than life trucks on the way to church unless theres a hurricane in which case we’re hunkering down in our safe rooms, learning to run away from gators, watching out for poisonous snakes and frogs and good luck finding a decent Italian restaurant that serves pizza that reminds you of back home

Yeah tbh the heat is killer here. It’s nice on vacation burs it’s not nice when you need to do normal things like move in the summer, and you basically almost die from heat stroke 😂 or just the walk to your car melting your makeup and hair style. My AC in my car has been broken for months and it’s a fucking struggle.
