- I was just starting do put on my new Ghostbusters Ribbon Cable onto my Haslab Proton Pack when I realized... HEY! I should be recording this!
Hope this video helps anyone who is trying to do this
Cable being installed is the Fincher Technologies Ribbon Cable.
My Dad used to say that if you don't lose the screwdriver/wrench/random tool at least once during a job, you're not paying enough attention to the job itself. Losing the tool that's right where you put it is a sign of a job being done right!

I was able to install the Heavy Props clamp just by slightly widening one of the existing holes. Excellent tutorial.
was the screws really close to the inner side walls of the pack? I found it difficult to use the supplied nuts on the screws. I personally feel the HeavyProps clamp is the best looking out of all of them. Their IonArm is amazing too!
Oh…when I asked for C&A for help with installing the ribbon with their clamp, they were impressed with Wirefauna cable before I settled with Fincher ribbon and Redman clamp
This video helped me in how to mount the cable in the back wasn’t sure to punch another hole with the belt puncher. Waiting for my P clamp before i open up the pack again then I gotta upgrade the V hook

Delaminating issues aside (mine was peeling right out of the box so I never even installed it), the TGBCablery clear heat shrink wrap wrinkles starting right at the clamp in every picture I have seen of it installed in an unsightly manner.

What replacement ribbon cable clamp will fit that size ribbon cable that would keep the original function of the hasbro cyctron , thank you 😊

Looks fantastic! Is it safe to assume that you've lost the functionality of the HasLab cable removal sequence, though, since that's screwed in there, and can't be removed easily anymore? I'd love a way to maintain that if possible...
YOu are correct however I have moved tha tlittle micro activation switch to the side compartment door so I retain that sequence 😎
hey peirre. is it easy to install using the stock clamp? and is there a particular cable that is easiest for the stock clamp?
Hmm Stock clamp... That's a tough one. All the cables are a little too thick in gauge wires to fit. You would have to dremel the opening a little to fit them. Or you can buy C&A Prop Designs replacement clamp and cable. Pops right onto the Haslab pack. No cutting or modifications needed.

Is their aspecific type of cable glue that you can buy so,s that they stay welded together? 🤔🤷♂️
You can try E6000. I highly recommend getting a Fincher Cable or Wire Fauna. They don't suffer from delamination as much as the others. Also twisting the cable with the outside seam facing out in the twist helps 100 times more. Hope that helps!
