Dear Mr. Apple Pie, thanks for getting in touch. I've been doing Pantomime not only for 12 years on CZcams, but for almost 40 years in theatres around the world, and I am planning to continue to do so for a while longer. In order to help I need to know more about your theatre class. Are you the teacher or a student? What is the task? Create a mime piece, show some techniques, ...? My pieces can help you to get inspired... For me mime is all about telling stories, without words. And in order to do so you need to think of a place where you can show characters with objects and feelings. That is a good starting point for any piece that you want to create. Saludos, Carlos

Thanks for writing again. Normally it takes quite some time to develop and rehearse a good mime piece. I suppose that you have to perform alone and therefore I suggest the following exercise to come up with your own idea for a piece: combine these 5 objects (a suitcase, a ring, a photo, a broom, a jacket) and try to tell a little (funny) story with that. There are infinite possibilities... All the best for that!
