FUNDAMENTALS OF SMALL ARMS WEAPONS - PART I THE CYCLE OF OPERATION
PROCESSES OF CHAMBERING, LOCKING, FIRING, AND COCKING EXPLAINED IN DETAIL - FUNCTIONAL MODEL BUILT UP TO ILLUSTRATE EACH STEP.
I love these old instructional videos. they simplify very technical devices and procedures. And the workmanship is great
This is incredible! The amount of time and effort boggles the mind; not to mention the superb quality of the machine work in making each one of these parts and pieces. Simply, it's the single best demonstration of the basics of firearm principles and operations that I have ever seen... and I've been actively studying guns since shortly after I learned what they were. Anywho, enough rambling. I'm just so pleased that I found this video, and equally grateful to you for posting it; thus preserving it for future generations. Thank you, and please take care.
War, war, war!
Excelente
And the best firearms mechanical video in CZcams goes to.........
This is what I’ve been looking for a basic over view of the internals of a rifle
I love how they make it so simple a 8 year old could understand it
Absolutely beautiful, just everything, from this demonstration to the fact humans designed and made small arms
This guy teaches better than my teacher xD
More fun too
This is so relaxing and calming 💤
0:21 Hi there, I'm Troy McClure.
You may remember me from such Army Educational Reels as
''The Dos and Don'ts of prostitution etiquette''
and ''Hände Hoch! Basic German for the invading soldier''
So, GI Joe, you've been shipped off to *CENSORED* and nobody told you how your gun works? Well don't worry because we have some oversized cardboard models that will dispel all the "magic" of you superior American Weapons.
Now lets ask some scienticians "what the heck is a gun?"
This might be the best Simpson's related CZcams comment that I have ever seen. Hell, it's one of the best CZcams comments I've ever seen, period. Thank you for actually making me chuckle!
Unbelievable beautifully made
A nice simple explanation of how the steps work. I remember that voice from old school videos on a variety of subjects
Great instructional video for its time
These old videos had the best instruction models! I mean, if this gun model wasn't cool enough, look at this giant demonstration mechanical watch: /watch?v=cZwq1KL4SD0 !
I think they were made by the same company. Even the (awesome sounding) narrators sound similar. Ah, in the words of a stereotypical old person "they don't make 'em like they used to."
The guy loading the Garand is gonna get M1 thumb loading it that way. It's better to keep the heel of your right hand against the bolt handle while simultaneously pushing the clip into the rifle with your right thumb, ensuring that the bolt will not slam closed until after you move your hand away with your thumb out of the action.
David Duarte ya teach the soldier
that's lee enfield I suppose
I got garand thumb ;(
What a great explanation
Marlin Brando, Gregory Peck, Angie Dickinson, Omar Sharif were all magnificent in this movie!
Beautiful explanation!!!
Great explanation
Thanks a lot bro!
Muy bueno me gustaria aver estados en esa.época de los pioneros de los inventó de estas armas que hoy me fascinan como jovi

Amazing stuff!
This would be such a cool toy for little boys.
then comes caseless ammunition and says "fuck you cycle of operation"
Huesudo
How's that caseless ammo worked out for you❓
It seems so... simple.
ok time to build my own ak 47
I keep trying to explain it to my friends
Now 2022....👍👍👍💪💪😀11 years old...
War, war, war!
Got two pistols, an AR57 and some Walmart ammo after Sandy Hook since Boxer and Feinstein sounded like they wanted to step on our 2nd Amend rights. These heaters bore me since my tail was never on a range or chasing a deer but hunched over a library table.
Just goes to show how lazy things are nowadays. They never show anything like this anymore.
