Does it work on the rear screen? (Tesla m3 highland)

Could you hook up a Bluetooth Trackpad and if so, when you'd use it, would you get the mouse pointer on the screen? Also, I hope that Tesla will change compatibility with newer models since I'm guessing the Bluetooth Classic devices are much more rare.

Tesla can get rid of the steering wheel and use Bluetooth controllers instead. 😊
I'm mostly kidding, but certainly if FSD gets to the point where we don't need a steering wheel for 99.9999% of drives, then a BT controller can certainly be useful to help with manually navigating out of an edge case.
Of course the concern with a controller as steering is the issues when BT fails, the controller's battery fails, the signal is jammed, etc. Some of that can be mitigated by the vehicle not allowing use of controllers to steer unless both the primary and backup controller are above a minimum charge level. Also the main screen could provide a touch-steering interface. It would be a little crude but it could be used to draw the path to navigate out of an edge case, or simply have a virtual steering wheel that you slide your finger back and forth to steer.
If the controllers are only needed to help steer out of edge cases, then the redundancy and reliance on them is not as critical.
