I think the chances are slim the Knicks part with 2 of Thibs favorite defensive players/top 5 offensive rebounder for a good offensive center with little defensive presence
Lavine was never a toxic player. 7 years playing, for the bulls, 2 all star, did everything what the team asked him, play main guy played 2nd guy, he never complained about his role. despite all the trade rumors, this dude work his ass in the summer and came to the training camp physically fit and ready to ball. if there's a toxic thing here it's you not LaVine.

From a Knicks fan perspective, not a chance we give up Robinson and McBride in that trade. We arguably get the worst player in that trade. We would rather roll the dice with an inury probe Mitch. McBride is really coming into his own.
Why would the Knicks give up Mitchell Robinson the whole point for the next is to get second center. The the New York Knicks will still need to get another center to back up whatever when they get in free agency so would make no sense to swap Mitch Robinson, who’s better and give up McBride makes no sense for the New York Knicks

I believe the Bulls will be okay taking a loss on a Lavine and Vuc trade. Just as long as they don't give up any draft capital. The Bulls have enough guard talent to go without Lavine that would benefit with more playing time. As far as Vuc the Bulls also have Sanogo and we just signed that dude from Indiana. I think we have a bunch of young talent that just needs an opportunity.
I always find it so funny that teams are so afraid of trading a pick several years in the future. Most of the time those picks don’t turn into anything. The Lakers made such a big deal about keeping the pick that became Jalen Hood Shofino and where has that gotten them? If I were in charge I would deal question mark picks that aren’t going be in the top 5 for known assets everytime.
If the Spurs ending doing these trades Ingram, Ball, LaVine is Championship material and Poppavich won’t complain
