Dang, you old!
@@ShanGamer1981 nope😭, the old one came out in 1922, that's why I'm saying.
@@sauravanand27 they also made one in 1979 by the GOAT Werner Herzog, too
There was one in 79 my man
@@dannyschoe4874 Plus, it's just unlicensed Dracula. There have been plenty of Dracula adaptations.
“You know, I’m something of a creature of the night myself.”
I get that this is a Spider-Man related meme, but it's actually great Willem Dafoe is the "Van Helsing" type character here after playing quote-unqoute "Nosferatu" in the underappreciated film "Shadow of the Vampire", which is a what-if take on the original Nosferatu and if original Nosferatu actor Max Shreck (Dafoe) was actually a real vampire... Pretty great flick, definitely worth checking out...
@@filmfanaticx4212 "Did I kill some of your people Murnau? I don't remember."
Fresh joke.
It should be:
“You know, I’m something of a Nosferatu myself.”
As Willem Dafoe has played the character (and Max Shreck) himself, in the film Shadow of the Vampire.
Willem Dafoe is a god-tier actor I can't think of anyone who even comes close to this lad. His performance in The Lighthouse was KINO of the highest order. Unmatched.
Robert Eggers broke his streak!
His first feature film that doesn’t have “The” in the title!
Don’t worry. The marketing team will add it on closer to the release date. THE Nosferatu! THE best Christmas movie of year. 😂
The Nosferatu
The Hash Slinging Slasher!
Don't jinx him!
The Vampyr
Now that is a film trailer no leaks, doesn't show the whole story, intriguing and mysterious as to who is playing Nosfeatu too, good job !
Yeah they show glimpses of Nosferatu which is brilliant
Just like for Alien Romulus. Yes, lots of action, but NOTHING of the actual plot! Love that. Hope that is a new trend.
@@ulfingvar1 agreed
It's the classic Dracula story. Everyone knows the "plot", unless they've literally never seen any Dracula film before. The original "Nosferatu" was just Bram Stoker's book, as well.
Yeah I agree however...this is supposed to be a *teaser* trailer, they're only supposed to be about 30 seconds long. So I'm thinking the movie will be spoiled in there future trailers.
Everyone: "Do not come."
Nosferatu: "I'm gonna come."

(pointing and laughing) "Nosferatu!"
(Hm) Nosferatu 😏👉
Oh how I've missed just pure gothic horror. Robert Eggers has never let me down!
The music, the camera work, the colours, that Hand over the Night shot...that trailer already invokes fear.
Well done!
Oh yeah, I definitely think that Nosferatu is an underrated vampire. Everyone loves the dracula's but did Dracula ever kill so many people in secret in multiple ports that people thought the boat he hid on was carrying the plague?
I think the idea of just showing him standing there in the dark is enough to make a person scared and terrified. Not showing his face is brilliant because most people know what his face looks like but his presence is even more terrifying.
that trailer is already starting to build the tension and anxiety that movie will create.
The 1979 movie did that PERFECTLY, highly recommend
Well yeah there’s a movie called Halloween and The Shape stood in the shadows and the dark the entire movie and changed horror as we know it lol
He's just standing there....menacingly!
I'm afraid his face won't be as terrifying as the "OG", but let's see!
"They must have amnesia, they forgot that I'm him." -Nosferatu
"I am Himalayan"
"This shit ain't nothing to me, man"
SLOWLY FADED INTO DARKNESS AND I LET THE ARCHANGELS TAKE HIM
"Money longer than KD's feet"
I don't give a fuck if I go blind, I don't need to see the price tag anyway.
This is what a vampire movie should look like. Suspense, fear, dread. Beautiful horror. The ultimate monster.
Willem, Bill, Aaron, and Nicholas. Both great actors. When I heard news about the movie. It was revealed that Harry Styles was being considered for Thomas Hutter but not Nicholas plays that character. The movie’s gonna be epic.
All* great actors 😊..
This movie will be an instant classic!
From night manager at the Krusty Krab to a Hollywood actor, Nosferatu finally made it big
I was waiting for this comment 😂😭
Flickering the damn lights
Between this and the meme edits of The Lighthouse I fear I can't ever watch a Robert Eggers film without immediately thinking of a Spongebob bit to pair alongside it.
Hash-Slinging Slasher!!!
Horror movie on Christmas Day
That shot of Orlok’s hand over the town..oh my god, I CANNOT WAIT
That’s one of my favorite shots!! Gives me goosebumps!
his name is Count Orlock, not Nosferatu
Looks way too CG though. Needs better feathering, smokiness, and lower opacity.
Nosferatu means vampire, and the name of the vampire here is Count Orlock.
Was he flying? Like El Conde
Ralph Ineson's voice has to be the most iconic voice of the current age. Such a good cast. Can't wait for this remake of a classic.
Finally bringing the horror back into vampires.
If that was you on the phone and you on the bus... Then who was flickering the lights?!
...NOSFERATU! 😏
I was thinking the same thing tbh
Love that episode LOL LOL
"😃"
'The Hash Slinging Slasher'😂😂😂. One of favourite Spongebob episodes, besides Rock Bottom and that Sqidward Time Machine 'Aloneeeee' episode
I swear on lord Jesus I read this just at the power in my work went out and starting flickering out
It looks incredible. That silhouette of Nosferatu stood beside a wolf in a dark hallway looked genuinely scary.
It is two, actually. One on each side. One great shot
you’re right, it is so dark i could barely see it. I just watched the trailer again and wow, it’s such a beautiful looking film. Robert Eggers is like a filmmaker from the past, very few make films like he does nowadays. I’m really looking forward to seeing this.
I'm skeptical after The Northman.
Indeed it does
he better have a hunchback instead of looking like an escapee from twilight's casts
Finally some actual footage! There was way too much fan made stuff proliferating the internet in the wake of this film. It looks even better than I could’ve imagined based on the trailer. I absolutely must see it opening day, the original silent film is one of my all time favorites of horror cinema.
I'll be seated. Robert Eggers is my favourite current horror director and I don't want to miss a single one of his films!
Willem Defoe looking as Count Orlok: "haven't I seen you before?"
He was thinking he saw Morbius as Green Goblin
Nice Shadow of the Vampire reference.
“I’m something of a Nosferatu myself”
According to IMDb
Willem Dafoe: Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz
Bill Skarsgård : Count Orlok
He played Count Orlok (or rather he played Max Schreck who played Count Orlok in the original Nosferatu) in 2000's Shadow of the Vampire. That movie rules @Drekulviin
I love that this is coming out at Christmas instead of Halloween.
Yes! Just the thing to give "Small Things Like These" some competition, though actually, I like Claire Keegan's stories.
We haven’t gotten a not Christmas,Christmas movie in a while
Halloween is the top holiday, it should last all September too
It's pretty smart, what other horror movies will compete with it on Christmas? But if they release it on Halloween, then it's a different story.
Traditionally Christmas time is when people told ghost/vampire/other creepy stories.
I wonder if Nosferatu will be an Oscar worthy contender despite the academy awards not being well known for nominating and awarding horror movies?
not enough 'diversity'...
Nah, it's not going to be a contender, Eggers always has the weirdest date releases for a movie, i don't see how this movie will make any money with that release date, being a hard watch for sure, it's going to be a good movie but that is not enough and also, Oscars doesn't care that much about good movies anymore, you can be very artsy pantsy with your movie, is not enough, you need to have succes with it, have people talk about it, The Northman was supposed to be his "mainstream" movie but it barely made any money, he has a good vision, good director, but for sure he doesn't reach a certain audience, i know your comment was about Oscars, but i don't think an Oscar is that important anymore, many people focusing so much on oscars but c'mon, Jake Gyllenhaal deserved an oscar for his performance in Nightcrawler and many more movies/directors that deserved Oscars, didn't get it, you fit a certain agenda, you get on that oscar list, Eggers is not woke enough for the Oscars, just forget about it
I want to see Bill Skarsgard win an Oscar
Bill Skarsgard in the crow looks to be epic failure so I hope he nails this role
A Spongebob star is finally getting his recognition
Definitely
Or maybe SpongeBob would appear in theaters about put away the phones before the movie starts like they did with Deadpool and Wolverine before it starts 😂

It looks creepy which is perfect for this movie. The sense of dread and feeling it all around you. We might have a winner here.
I can tell just from watching this that he has done this classic justice. Murnau would have approved, I'm sure. And been so deeply honored that his work is still remembered and admired and copied over 100 years later. It almost didn't survive at all--good thing there was no copyrighting in 1922.
Vampire and Robert Eggers? Yes please
The Witch, his first film was the best film. So hopefully he can do it again in the horror genre.

100th remake? Has it even been done twice😂😂
Werner Herzog did it in the 70s with Klaus Kinski so this is the third.@@atimetraveler4910
This is only the 2nd remake. The first was by Werner Herzog in 1979, nearly 50 years ago, and the original Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau came almost 50 years before Herzog’s remake in 1922. We will have a total of 3 takes on Nosferatu, each 50 years apart. Spooky coincidence😬
