I lived off fanfiction, and the small bits of character he was given (as well as Magnus). Now the show isn't just making Alec jealous, it's taking all the things I loved about him ---that he's mature, that he has an outside look at everything, that he's the devil's advocate to everyone else's reckless, that he cares too much, that he's hurt, that he cares for everyone else before his own happiness. All of these are very intriguing traits but sometimes they were just kind of add ons to the fact that he's gay which I always thought should have been the add on to those. I'm so thrilled with this show, it's not even funny. XD
For all the ppl saying this show will fail,I understand your concern but if something as annoying as 6 seasons long Pretty little Liars can survive then so can shadowhunters. I seriously can't wait to see shadowhunters. #TeamMalec 4Ever
