- I have always been more of a grassroots event type of person, but there is a middle ground. Events like this 50k payout event by Riverside really bridge the gap on FD and driving with the crew. But sometimes Cash Rules Everything Around Motorsports can change the vibe of the event. Be sure to drop a line and let us know what you think about our content. It's so good that you can go from a 1300HP mustang to a 400HP mustang and still beat the doors off all competition. I love that you still do grass roots stuff while being the points leader in FD. ❤

Because at the end of the day grass roots will always be better, you get more fun out of it for less money
He came to our home built track a couple years ago and was just chilling. I was like dude I play as you in video games and now you're just sitting there being a normal dude. It was wild seeing him in the pits for sure

Chelsea is the best teacher I learn something new every video you should put a pedal cam in the fox so we can see that awesome footwork man
I've competed against some of my best friends, and the understanding we have is that when the flagger drops their hands, it's go time. Playing games like driving different in practice, than in comp, is where the line gets drawn.
I have a similar feeling.
Only Denofa can be the master of a 1300hp mustang monster and a 400hp mustang at the same time 😂

Salem is basically my home track. It was really good to be able to say "Hey" to you and even better to see the mustang rippin. I had just watched the indy drift video in the appalacian mountains too so pretty cool.

@19:45 -- I love Chelsea, but there's that bitter Aries energy of his. Aries are natural competitors, naturally charismatic, but that same energy keeps them from ever being happy with themselves or being close with other. I see that with Chelsey in almost every video. He never lets me forget he's 100% Aries.
Those are cool astrology notes and I am an Aries, I think my bigger downfall is that I love drifting so much and care about all the people involved, so I personally am brought down sometimes when people are selfish about the competition. Obviously we’re human and you seem to know a lot about that.
I’m not sorry that I share my emotions and feels on YT unlike MOST other people who are living a different life when the camera turns on and that YOU choose to focus on my negative energy when there is plenty of positive, happiness, and love in the videos.

Always like seeing drift videos, but I'm curious as to these runs are scored and if the chase car can pass the lead car. Well, I have several questions but those 2 are the most prominent in my head haha
Angle, speed, and filling zones is main things judged for points on a lead run.usually some leeway for style thrown in. In chase its proximity and how close you mimick the lead car

Dude the way Chelsea threw it in to the last OZ on his 1st qualifying run was so sick! That’s what I love to see, when someone throws the car to angle way before their target, and somehow they hood that same angle when back on throttle. Insane! Love seeing this car progress. Chelsea… something I would love to see is you build a prospec foxbody to take to comps like this. I know you’re journey with this car had the goal to drift and be competitive on a budget. Which has been very eye opening, but I would love to see a crazy spec’d mustang tear these events up. If you win the FD championship, I would bet money Ford would be happy to help with that build. They could set you up with a kickass engine, and we could see a full on gnarly car. Just an idea. I’ve always loved these cars since I was a kid seeing them at the local car shows. I want to hear an engine scream in this chassis. Kick some ass the rest of the FD season. Just be you, but be aware enough during runs where you can make smart decisions. When you do that, NO ONE CAN BEAT YOU.
The last turn wasn’t always working like that haha, took me 3-4 leads to trust it with the big bumps. The fox is so light that bumps are one of the downsides
@@chelseadenofa I can imagine that would be an issue. It makes sense logically, the suspension on a heavier car would stay more planted from bumps than a light car. Loving your vibe and content. Pulling for you to win that FD title. Do your thing and you’ll take it home 🤙🏻

The event is called Riverside 50k, of course everybody wants to win, money doesn't take the fun away from the event salty takes on it do. Love your driving, can wait to see you win in FD. I love this sport, love the RTR crew.

He never drove em like you though lol and was always complaining about the turning radius... Seeing the Fox always brings back good memories!

IMO Dan explained himself and it was completely valid. To go in and put emotion in the recap adds negativtity “i feel like…” comments don’t add to the sport. Agree with evryone you two drive great together, dont let competition ruin that lol!

@@chelseadenofa I found it odd that a Pro FD car had to come off throttle that hard for the transition. Gear change or not, Dan's video showed his motor was audibly off throttle for an extend time and he didn't even make a move to transition the car during this time. Just held it to you tapped wheels.

As a judge myself I don't understand how they faulted you for that. There's no way that there's a decel zone into that inner clip and you weren't accelerating at all. Dan just slowed out of nowhere and gave you nowhere to go.

eh, Id much rather watch you run the foxbody and taylor run the little miata in this sort of event. I think that would have been more entertaining. I would have VASTLY preferred to see you party with the homies at final bout though.

I think it’s just different for some people. Of course I want to win, and I’ll drive to win, but I also believe in myself and think I can be successful based on what I have trained to do… If I win by not driving my best, even if there is no games played, I’m not happy about it.
@chelseadenofa agreed. I think it's safe to say that everyone wants to see door to door comp......clean, no BS runs. But when you put up a huge cash prize, the morals and fun start to dissappear.
