The Xbox Wireless Adapter does not support Bluetooth... is uses Microsoft's proprietary "Xbox Wireless" technology. In order to connect devices to this adapter you need devices that support it like Xbox controllers and wireless headsets.

Mine is stuck in my front usb connector. How much force does it take to pull out? I'm using a lot of force to try to get this thing out but I'm afraid to use any more to pull the thing out. I think mine is broken because you think its like any normal usb. It works great, but I just wanna move it to a different spot

you can't, because this is not bluetooth adapter. this is microsoft proprietary wireless technology, so it can only connect to other microsoft wireless devices. and it won't lag or disconnect like standard bluetooth. hope it helps.

Yes. I have 2 Xbox One Controllers connected and both are connected as separate controllers. Please see the video, information is in there. Regular Bluetooth will work as well i guess, but this has better drivers capability and Microsoft support for all the Games.

Excelent video!!! Heard that is bad to put an adapter behing your case due to the high temperature, would it be ok if I connect it to my keyboard USB port?
No unless your keyboard has a cord in the computer for it to be able to sync up if that makes sense
This is great but my controller sometimes just stops working makes no sense takes about 10 seconds or more to reconnect (using elite series 2). Anyone have any fixes for this? I’ve checked the drivers and says it’s using the best ones. Using windows 10.

Have you tried it with a play and charge kit? Connecting my wireless adapter to Windows by bluetooth and then when the battery is low I connected it to the usb cable but after disconnecting the usb the controller won't reconnect to the pc.
No i have not tried this method. But it has been more than a year and still running strong.

How does the Bluetooth Xbox adapter stack against other USB adapters. Is the Xbox USB adapter the best for lower input delay or is there better?
It has been incredible. I have been using it for at over a Year now and it has been nothing but excellent for Xbox Controllers.

@@sebastianrestrepo8484 your not really supposed to keep things plugged in to your usb ports if you don’t use them. It won’t exactly hurt it but it takes the power away from the ports so if you charge your phone on the computer or transfer something to a flash drive it might be slower.

Yes it works with Windows 11 and there is no lag using wireless Xbox controllers.

@@craigdankovich7607 try it dude, I used to say the same thing you’ll still love using the controller, but you’ll have the skill of mouse and keyboard, it only took me 1 month to learn the foundations of mouse and keyboard then boom it become easy.

@@hpvrstuff3659 it's not. I've owned the original for years. It's been a godsend. Multiple controllers at once fluidly, rumble feature, low latency, and if you plug a headset into the bottom you can get stereo sound from the comfort of your couch.

It connects automatically. No need to pair again. It has been years and best product i bought. It is a life saver

I recently got a Gaming PC and one of the Xbox One controllers that supports Bluetooth ( not the original Xbone version with the glossy plastic on the front ) but it sucks! It's very laggy, unresponsive - sometimes the sticks drift, etc.. Does anyone know if getting this wireless dongle will help with performance, and if this problem is common? When I plug the controller up via a usb cable it works smoothly, but I really wanted to be able to play wirelessly with an option to run my PC to my TV.
Dude same except it’s the elite series 2 (not worth 200$) it’s 140 today. So I usually used the wire and decided to use Bluetooth and the response to my movement was wayyyyy off. I can only think of maybe one thing. If you go in your computer settings and find power usage and battery or something (I’m not on my computer as of writing this but going off my memory even tho I should know) and do advanced settings, it could also be located somewhere else) you can see wireless device performance and mine was and is still on medium so I wonder if that’s it cause I could do max performance but haven’t done it. Idk if that adapter would do the same thing or not with the lag. I wanted to buy one but after that Bluetooth basically not working. Maybe just using a cable is fine

Too bad you cant use this on anxold fat 360 to connect wirelessly to your router. Pretty stupid you have to buy a whole nother accessory to do that. The fat ps3 came with wi-fi!!

This will work if you PC does not have bluetooth, because it is itself bluetooth device to connect your bluetooth controllers.

2015 Model has some compatibility problem with New Controllers, because it has old Bluetooth Version.

Would this work on older pc games like half life? I have an old xbox 360 one and it works but there's no way to set the game controls to the game through settings so the controls are not set correctly

I was having issues and that was fixed with updating my bluetooth driver settings in device manager.

I think other USB Bluetooth Dongle works with Controllers, but this one is special for Xbox Controllers. I am coming about 1 year since been using it - ZERO - issue so far. If you are using Xbox controllers with PC, i would highly highly recommend it.

I came off as passive aggressive, the original xbox one controllers don't have bluetooth that's why they made the wireless adapter. Now all new xbox one controllers (2nd gen) have bluetooth. The adapter itself has no bluetooth, it's their proprietary signal I think. You can't use any other device aside from the xbox controller and the headphones(headphones can be plugged directly into the controller) YOU CAN NOT CONECT WIRELESS HEADPHONES TO THE ADAPTER ITSELF. You can however buy another bluetooth adapter to plug into the bottom of the controller I believe. If I'm wrong about any of that let me know.

It might not, but since it is Xbox headphones you never know.
As long as you make the controller your default sound output, whatever 3.5mm listening device you plug into it will work as sound. Doesn't have to be xbox.

You can look at the connectors and count the number of pins to find out. It is usb 2.0 btw
