The level of detail in the planning is just incredible. The amount of insider information that it required to gather is frightening. It is obvious that many Palestinians who came to work in these kibbutz’s were purposely collecting and giving away very specific information to Hamas planning teams for years.
From this, one can easily understand that Israeli people don’t see Gaza people as being divided between Hamas « military branch » terrorists and « innocent civilians » but rather a continuous spectrum including Hamas supporters, cooperators and enablers to various degrees, which overall represent an important part of the Gaza population.

This event shows the importance of the 2A and a well trained militia. Countless lives were lost where the kibbutz civilian defenders were overwhelmed or failed to react. Countless other lives were saved when the civilian defenders managed to drive of the terrorists like in this case. Right to bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!
First no it doesn’t because Israel is in a war and has been for the last 70 years, america isn’t in a war with Mexico or Canada so Israel is in a very unique case here. These weren’t random civilians with guns, these were security forces who have been training for years and likely are former military and Hamas already knew they were there. Also in another kibbutz the security forces responded but ran out of ammo and were killed so we shouldn’t rely on militias.
They all are militarily trained as all Israelis are required to put in Military service when they reach a certain age.
Not an American but wholeheartedly agree being that you are only one country that has that right drafted into a constitution. I bet they couldn't do this in Texas or in any other border town in the US.
For us in the Philippines this is merely a privilege which I think is also the case in Israel it so seems.
The flaw with the American system is that ANY untrained person can possess a gun. It’s out of control and untenable. Even the unhinged or extremist can possess a whole arsenal.
