Imagine if Unreal Engine could do everything that Blender does, like modeling and sculpting, all in one place. This would be amazing for people who want to make their own games, movies, or TV shows. Every year, there are competitions to see who can turn the best story into a movie, and lots of people are involved in this creative field.
modeling is in unreal already and will get better, its gonna be a one stop shop eventually Tim is smart man
No that wouldnt be useful… maybe only for small mesh tweaks. Unreal needs better and easier animation tools/Layouts similar what Maya has. Blender hasnt there very reliable features like physic simulation for bones or easy animation layers or features like animbot. If Unreal would fill that gap, it would become a much better pipeline, better then if UE5 tries to imitate what Blender does best.
Modeling/texturing requires such different tools and workflows it’s better to just keep them separate. I mean, you just import the models easily anyways… it wouldn’t really make it faster.

you could do your own dances etc for your own island, your own ingame currency earnt through gameplay save players progress and they can spend that currency on dances or evenm skins made by the creator

btw how do you think a huawei phone would do as a ai mocap i dont have a tripod yet but looking for one so i can start with main unreal engine more serious heh. maybe even a kinect as a camera can work as well?

@@Jsfilmz False alarm, I thought it worked, my moph targets has animated curves showing up but it's not playing for some reason. Must not be in yet. The same character plays in the normal UE5, but doesn't work in Fortnite Creator yet.

Been playing around with this. Doesn't look like UEFN support plugins etc. Do you know about morphs and blend shapes? Any way of getting live pre-rerecorded facial animation from Live Link Face imported. That would be nice.

Say I creat a roleplaying map with restaurants and other stuff and there are jobs could I give the players animations if they interact with the objects? Like the Stove the Cash register machine and others?

And that sounds like a big missed opportunity because, sure, seeing NPCs do cool animations is awesome! but our skins doing some would be much better...

SO is there any difference between your custom character and the Fortnite Avatar? Are we able to add our own Avatars or customize their character so our characters work with their engine? Sounds like a silly question but I'm unsure.

yea i think people are already getting in trouble for importing other IPs in it. their rules are pretty straight forward, moderating it would be hard they will prolly rely on people reporting illegal activities since they wont be able to moderate it all

Can you help me with UEFN? I have a rigged Character that I got from Fortnite Porting and I imported the mesh only into Mixamo to get animation’s because for some reason I was having trouble importing the whole fbx file. Now whenever I import the animation into UEFN, I get an error message: “Mesh contains …. bone as root but animation doesn’t contain the root track. I have tried many ways to try and fix this but they all don’t seem to work, I even tried using the mixamo converter and I am still getting the same problems. Do you know how to fix this?

Bro, how do you get the game to start in window mode? I tried everything and whenever I hit start session it still starts in fullscreen 1920x1080 instead of window 1440x900!?
not sure bro mine plays window by default
@@Jsfilmz and low resolution or u change it after it starts? Mine is window by default too but 1080 so it feels out the whole screen instead of small like yours.
