Thanks for the informative reviews! If I may, I would like to add my two cents about the bissell. We have owned the Bissell Spot Bot for a little over a year. Based on the Spot Clean Pros appearance here the similarities and these are the down falls we have had with our Spot Bot. The thin clear material of the hose does not do well with vigorous scrubbing . After about 8-10 uses it got a split in it. I wrapped it in gorilla tape and it has held but it sucks it happened so soon and you can't buy a replacement hose. The head does not come apart and is hard to clean. Sorry to be graphic but our cat sometimes yaks up his wet food and after getting what we can get with a paper towel there are still bits that get sucked up in the head. I've rinsed, soaked, everything and it stays. It looks like the clear piece might snap off and on but it for sure does not. I had to epoxy it back on. Guess it would be beneficial if it wasn't clear that way I would not know the ick that lives with in. If we have more problems with the hose I might look into the Little Green as that hose looks sturdier. Oh, and the way the hose wraps around the Spot Bot is super dumb and the spot bot scrubber part of it saturates your carpet (so you end up using the hose anyway) and essentially untwist the tufts of your carpet. So what I'm saying is don't get the spot bot.

I appreciate your clear and thorough reviews! As I noted in your upright shampooer review, the Bissell machines have a design flaw [in 2020] wherein the brushes keep turning even though one is using the attachments, and can ruin carpets and cords! I purchased the Hoover Powerdash, which was your second favorite upright, and decided to get this Bissell SpotClean Pro [Abt Electronics @ $30 off] as a spot cleaner and car detailing shampooer. For a combined price of just over $250, I have greater versatility and performance than asking one machine to do it all.

i have the Spot Clean Pro and though it lasted a couple of years, warning: the way the hose wraps when not in use actually puts a pressure point on the plastic and it broke open at the neck near the brush. Bissel's own comment section for this mentions the hose breaking for many people- right outside of warranty and it costs $120 for a dealer to fix. The plastic needed to be soft to bend but stiff too and torque and tension aren't its friend. I don't know that i can recommend this to anyone except 'it works great- until the hose breaks 2.1 years in'

Other important considerations would be: 1) does the cleaning head come apart for cleaning; 2) is the dirty water tank designed so you can rinse all the mess/hair out (my old little green machine has a bunch of catch-points where filth sticks and goes moldy; 3) does some dirty water sit in the bottom fermenting (again my old machine has a whole sub-floor where dirty water stays in the machine and then when you turn the machine on, the air fills with the smell of mold. I would love to find a machine that can be rinsed out and cleaned easily and fully between uses but I can't find any reviews discussing these points.

I’m trying to do small upholstery work/cleaning on the side but want a good reliable product. People are consistently rating subpar machines as good or great almost like it’s standard to just settle for “ average” performance when you’re spending your hard earned money! Lol. I own a Bissell little green machine and I like it except for the fact the water tank is way too small and the hose is way too short. Considering how expensive bigger machines are, I am tempted to upgrade to the pro version but it would have to address those two issues. @@Senorlatulla I got the latest Hoover vaccum/spot attachment because it’s more value, it has good functions. Haven’t had a problem, expect one time I did deep cleaning which I didn’t understand, but that means the carpets were too wet. I would think that’s for a very small spot such as a wine spill, and not the whole hall way. I would think rug machine is also good since they have a professional model that they rent, but be sure to check the reviews before buying. Also it might be a little more expensive than Hoover. I would not recommend bissel unless it is thier lastest innovative product because thier stuff is more underpowered and can saw some reviews where the green spot machine was hard to service when broken. But be wary of their new product while looks good, check for reviews to make sure it’s not easily broken. So I would recommend the latest Hoover to save costs, then probably a rug doctor, and then if the latest Bissel model if it’s innovative and has good reviews you can also go for that, but not their older models

Hi, I am curious if you made a typo on the Bissell spotclean pro. You wrote model 3625? I can only find 3624. I am wanting to purchase this portable cleaner but want to make sure I purchase the correct one based on your review. The link sends you to the 3624. Are tthey identical?

A shop vac would be better stronger suction and you can use it as a vacuum, cheaper too.

I'm seriously considering turn my Nilfisk shop vacuum into an "extractor". All that's needed is the end nozzle and a spray reservoir with the respective wand.
All available on Ebay, Amazon, etc. and it's not even expensive!
Cost/benefit and sheer power make the shop vacuum an amazing option. Beside the fact I already own a decent shop vacuum. ;-)
So, wet & dry powerful vacuum, extractor function, blower function and tool controlled remote operation. This last function it's very useful with portable saws, drill, sanders, etc. ALL in ONE! And cheaper than these! I believe I convinced myself. LOL :-)

reading all the reviews on Amazon, It sounds like Bissell will inevitably have a cracked hose which will take you to another youtube video and Amazon purchase for a DIY to replace it every 2 years.
That means whoever is 2nd place in this video may be the better purchase.

Rug Doctor has the best hose. I had a Bissell and had to replace the expensive hose in less than a year. I have had the Rug Doctor for almost two years with out a cracked hose or any other kind of issue. I would buy a Rug doctor again.

Get the professional.. As a pro detailer "heated" extractor's are trash.. The Professional has an upright extractor motor in it.. Which is why it's so much better than the other's.. The heat serious only has a 3.5 suction amperage.. The professional has a 5.7

Sacredheals TV since I commented I went a head and ordered the Bissell pro heat and I hated it. The suction sucked a full tank would suck less then 1/5 the water. I felt like I had better result with going old school with a rag and a bucket of water.

Sacredheals TV so your absolutely right. And the water never felt warm or hot even tho I put warm water in so it was a waste of money overall.

I know you posted this 2 years ago but just in case you are still wondering: I have the proheat pet spotcleaner and it was the biggest waste of money ever other than the handheld "pet stain eraser." It takes hours to clean a small spot, multiple refills and dumps, leaks out the bottom, the hose/suction will randomly cut off, and it does not suck up water very well.

I’m irritated because the rug doctor I had for 10 years finally quit so I bought your number one. It sucks but not in good way. I’m very hesitant to believe your reviews and I’m a vacuum nut. I think you might be being paid by bissel- I am going through hell trying to return that garbage whilst cleaning up everything it couldn’t do with a the new rug doctor. I had the old version in your video and it was amazing for ten years. I truly believed you but the machine you praise is awful. I don’t trust you or your reviews anymore. I have a Sebo vacuum. I am serous about serous cleaning. I think your being sponsored in some way to sell an inferior product. Done with you. Bissel vacuums are terrible- the only one I like is the proheat pet carpet cleaner that does perform well. You sold out otherwise.
