For the anyone other than the 1%, a 32' boat is a big-ass recreational boat that most can't afford to buy, tow, rent a mooring slip, or store ashore. Or fill with gas repeatedly.
We use to tow a 14' fishing boat, with the same Y set up. The toe hook pulled out in rough seas one time and sling shotted into the back cabin wall past the back deck. It sounded like a gun shot.
If the yacht is what is on the guys shirt, it is a 123ft yacht. I thought the tender looked like a center console fishing boat. But if they are motoring around the ocean, I would want something at least 32' as a backup for the crew.
The yacht I work on at the moment cranes its 30ft tender onboard lol that process is also terrifying, all the rope and chain, imagine the weight of that thing coming down on you.
You don't want to tow with the eyes directly on the cleats. You are supposed to tie off to the cleats in case you need to let the tow go under tension.
Nylon tow line?? That's the line you should NOT use. When nylon breaks/snaps, it'll shoot right back at you. If someone is in the way they could be seriously injured. Tow lines should be floating poly lines that do not stretch, so that they don't snap when breaking and will float away from the prop.
That tender could fully sink and the main ship wouldn't even care. They'll cut the lines, let the tender sink, and continue on without ever thinking about it again.

I saw the loop at the end of tow line was "eared" on the cleat. BIG NO NO!!! Under tension, how would you untie it in an emergency?? I'm sure there's an ax hanging on the wall near the cleat. No?? Never "ear" a loop to a cleat. Tie a standard cleat hitch and add 2 turns so you can untie the line any time even under tension. It never matters until it REALLY matters.
It must be nice. A 32’ tender following a yacht. My boat is in my bathtub.
Imagine having a $300k boat as your backup…
A tender isn’t exactly just a backup but I get your point

32’ Tender, hmmm. Meanwhile I’m trying to justify financing a 14’ Jon boat for the rest of my life! 🤣
32' tender 😂. "When we are on the tender for more than an hour, we tow a 28' tender."
A yacht towing a yacht. 😂
Her second angle is way better than the first one
There's the Haves and The Haves yachts
My main boat is only 30 feet 😢 my tender is a paddle board 😢😢
I ONLY have a paddle board and tow air. Could def be better, but could be much much worse.

Yep. They can and do kill people
Polished the windlass’s chrome! Nice!😊
Meanwhile I’m building a 32’ thinking it’s something special and they be towing it lol
Meanwhile I'm designing a yacht that can carry my truck and a raft to tender the truck to shore...
Umm i just want a place to live under 2k per month, meanwhile this.
Sucks.
Buy a boat.
MOVE out of citys. Plenty of people live for cheaper than that. You want access to other bs, the cost isnt most important
I always tow a floatie when I'm underway on my pool raft
Remember that dude on Below Deck getting that line around his foot ? So gnarly.
Oh wow thank you that is so helpful. My crew has no idea how to do this properly. 😂
There are First World Problems, and then there are One Percenter Problems...
Landlubber that I am, that doesn't look like a 32ft boat that y'all are pulling.

Ohhh they snap
@thatyachtiegirl motor up or down?
Can you show us what you do when you stop?
We used to tow our 26 Intrepid - it would be caked in salt and diesel smoke after a trip across the Gulf Stream.
Strange, that she'd mention a nylon tow lead, while the video zooms up a heavier piece of dacron braid used for the Y-harness mirror side.
Clickbait?
Synthetic Line Snapback - Deadly - Be careful around any line under a load but be extra careful around synthetic lines.
The yacht I work on at the moment cranes its 30ft tender onboard lol that process is also terrifying, all the rope and chain, imagine the weight of that thing coming down on you.
When the boat you tow with your bigger boat is more boat than most people boat😂😢
How is it a tender? I was under the imprimpression that tenders are work boats
I wouldnt tie a tenser that way. Tie to each side cleats loke you did on the main ship. Pulls cleaner.
What do you use for the spring set up on the nylon line ?
LOOKS LIKE AMSTEEL
You don't want to tow with the eyes directly on the cleats. You are supposed to tie off to the cleats in case you need to let the tow go under tension.
that's a whole ass boat not a tender

Very interesting
I cooked for a guy on land who has a 150ft yacht with a Merritt 86 sport fish yacht is the "big tender" and they have another 30ish foot small tender
That's a big chicken tender. The ones at the Burger King by me are only like 2 inches
At first I thought it said "The Tinder that travels w/ the yacht"
Maybe just me, but i would not stand in between those ropes while towing ur mini yacht😅
So a tender is just slang for a lifeboat that you can get you back to America or wherever
How do I get this job?
Needs a bigger boat my yacht the 32 foot tender sits on top of the back deck just kidding. It’s not my yacht, but it does sit on the back deck
holy eyebrows!!! you need to tame them babys!! they are wild!!!😂😂😂
Nylon stretches, till it breaks and starts cutting body parts off. CZcams mooring line breaks.
Hummm isn’t this line dyneema not nylon? If so it is more static than a steel cable. You wouldn’t want a dynamic line to tow I think.
Cool Info
she's welcome aboard anytime.
Huge JE vibe
How do they prevent the tender from crashing into the yacht?
They have a 150ft distance between the 2 boats and the boat under tow isn't not under power so they really could never hit eachother
Yea, I'd get a tender I could crane to the deck.
Wow, I wish
An American flagged mega yacht?? Some rich owner willing to pay US taxes?? That is a rarity.
Im disappointed that you can't winch it on board. Maybe you should step up your game so you don't have to tow.
I was always told it’s called faking out line in the usn funny how things differ but stay the same
Lemme get a job! 15 year exp bartender
What a dumb question asking if someone is in the tender during crossing while towing 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Its absolutely stupid to tow a tender during rough seas. Unless you have money to throw away and don't care if your tender sinks.
Holy eyebrows
I need a job doing this
The world is broken 90% of people are struggling and some people tow a 200k boat behind there more expensive boat.
Tenders behind in the sea through storm are reason why ships sink.
That tender could fully sink and the main ship wouldn't even care. They'll cut the lines, let the tender sink, and continue on without ever thinking about it again.
She works on the yacht. She doesn’t own the yacht
Anything over 26ft is a yacht
Flat calm? I don’t think so.
Rich people are gross. Imagine how many people could be fed for the price of the yacht and the tender. Disgusting selfishness.
Cute crewmember
The correct term is "faking" the lines not flaking. Don't worry, it's a common mistake that kind of makes sense.
so what are you trying to say?
You "Fake" out a line... not "flake"
You should be towing is at all.
You see those lines smoking, be somewhere else.

sad really. cheap labor. looks like a school boy.
Why
How poor they must be to have to tow their tender.
Going too fast. U want a good catinary
Those tow lines are not nylon... Too dangerous... Looks like dynemma .. maybe come polyester.
keep busting ass at work, these guys depend on your hard work to stay filthy rich

Imagine the amount of fossile fuels burned here.
Who cares
That's the least of our worries on earth
good way to lose your tender
no one should have that much money
Tell me loaded without telling me ur loaded
