I’m the woman in the blue vest (Swale Combined AC). When I saw your Go Pro I thought the best strategy might to be to run ahead so your camera didn’t focus on my puffing and panting face 😆.
Great strategy Olwen and I hope it helped to spur you on a bit. Although actually I think I was using you as a pacer for most of the run! Glad you got to feature in the video and if you enjoy watching running on CZcams it would be great if you subscribed to the channel. As well as parkruns I have races, training, product reviews and pretty much anything else running related.
This is my local parkrun, I was there running too!
You live in a nice part of the country, we enjoyed our few days in Whitstable and the parkrun was great. I also managed a nice long run yesterday which will be on my next video tomorrow.
Good turn out looks a good route I might come and do this! Closing in on 1k subs bro well done not long now keep up the great honest running related content
Thank you mate. Got a bit of momentum going at the moment so hopefully keep that going and have a little 1k celebration in a few weeks.
Bloke is the striped top 100% cut the course lol
Haha - never cut a corner in parkrun, ther could be a guy with a GoPro nearby :)
Great park run! I’m hoping to do one New Years Day
Not considering doing a double on New Year's Day? I'm hoping to do Tilgate and then Brighton & Hove.
Here We Are Running Guildford and Woking potentially but it’s the hour in between times that’s a bit boring for hanging about!
@@DanRuns Could you run between them and make it a long run or is that too far?
It might have been a grey, cold day but the scenery was beautiful. Why do they always make us finish on a hill? What caused the bunch-up at the finish line?
I quite liked the finishing hill at this one but probably only because the rest of it was dead flat :) I think it was just peak finishing time and the runners in the funnel started to queue a bit whilst the tokens were being handed out.
Whitstable is a lovely town, full of charm and character. I haven't been there for years and that course looks great, nice run.
Thanks Tony, we really enjoyed our few days there. You'll get to see a bit more of Whitstable and the North Kent coastline in my marathon training vlog tomorrow :)
