    I never did play this second game, with the only Ecco game I've played beyond the first being the Dreamcast game. I really like how the SEGA CD soundtrack sounds here though. It seems a shame though that they did not make use of the SEGA CD' ASIC's scaling and rotation for the behind-the-dolphin section.

      There's definitely lost potential with this and a lot of other Sega CD games. Some really took advantage of the capabilities of the system and others were lazy ports with nothing more than an upgraded soundtrack. I played this game for the first time doing this channel and much like the first I wasn't a big fan which I guess makes sense since these are similar in feel.

      @@RetroComparisons The biggest Genesis failure was SOUND - SEGA CD fixed it.

      @@AdamGrey28 Very true. It sucks though that you'd have to spend so much money just for improved sound in so many cases. The sounds and music in the CD Ecco games is admittedly phenomenal.

      That would be awesome if they remastered these Ecco games with modern graphics.
