With all that dust the contents inside those boxes are surprisingly clean. Money filled boxes!
If the boxes stayed closed then no dust could get in the boxes. Most people put the stuff away clean. My uncle had one for 18 years and the boxes were dusty. But everything inside looked like it was just packed.

Hi again. Take good care of the Italian painting and frame...it is mid century and signed. Favorite motif and subject during that period. I'd buy it if I could but I am in AZ. Too far for me and my scooter to go on a trip that long. Yes I know auction but need $$$$'s too...damn.

I've seen someone use a paint brush to get rid of the excess dust.
Rob you really need masks for clean outs. You might think the dust would be over kill it’s not it’s called saving your lungs now I’m sure you want to be around for your kids have babies making you a grandpa should start in the back using a leaf blower. Or a small compressor like I said when you are closing blow from the back to front the next time it shouldn’t be as bad.

Estate sales flea markets etc. I never wear gloves. I need to be able to dig with bare hands you need the tips of your fingers to feel treasures. In my opinion dust preserves things

I’m being serious about what I’m going to say. That is exactly like the record collection I used to have back in my teens and 20’s that were stolen from me. Serious.
You should wear a mask when opening boxes with so much dust! My son ended up in the emergency room after being in a cabin that had not been dusted for a while ! Come to find out he is allergic to dust! He’s 27 what are the chances that he would develop an allergy at this age! The respiring problems he experienced as a result were scary.

My asthma is acting up just seeing all that dust. LOL Have you considered wearing gloves? All the dirt you go through... I'd wear gloves, 'cuz I hate, hate, **hate** the feel of newspaper. :-p That big painting probably isn't worth anything. It's pretty obviously the kind of stuff turned out by the dozens per year by mass-production artists. I've seen tons of 'em in that style. You found some cool stuff. :-)

Robert my late Dad had chest and sinus problems and asthma was one of them through breathing in dust when he was younger, please wear a mask and then do a voice over to protect yourself for your healths sake and your family as it really upset us that Dad was earning money to keep us while breathing in the dust. Sean should wear one too, or whoever is your cameraman at the time. I know you probably won't but I worry about this sweetheart. Although the boxes are filthy and dust is everywhere the contents look in great condition and you have already found some great items, I knew that was Papa Smurf when I saw him in the box, my children loved watching the Smurfs on tv when they first came out. I knew many of the bands whose records were in the box, ok the sleeves are in a bit of a state but the one record you showed us was clean. There are so many more boxes to go through I wonder how many videos you will have to make, and how much extra washing your wife will have? Never mind about the videos, I will enjoy watching and seeing what other goodies are hidden in those boxes. Everything there is soooooo 80's and I believe many new things there it means they used to have a business and sadly or the person died or they could not pay for the unit anymore. I love their records collection except the Rolling Stones and their nasty music.🤣🤣
