- This is the 2nd part of our Compulsary Basic Training where we went out on public roads to practice the Highway Code. Unfortunately my GoPro battery died and I was not able to capture our very interesting 180 degree bend!

What a great instructor. So lucky to have this bloke on your CBT.
I done my cbt yesterday and by god its not as easy as its made out, i really enjoyed it but man was i nervous, some people can crusie through it and some people struggle so for anyone foing their cbt try not get cocky and listen to everything your instructor tells you and most importantly have fun and be safe!
My first time riding a motorbike as well on my CBT. 😅. I remember my body was all stiff and sh*t. 😂
Took me 3 sessions to pass CBT, so glad it did as well because I think it really does take time to get that confidence, 5 months later and I absolutely love riding!
Your videos are very informative . I have done my advanced test and I still watch them to keep taking your information thank you
Mistakes are the ones leading you into success
Did my CBT 2 weeks back on a twist and go 50, think that was the better idea for me because i had zero road experience or car experience and i think doing a geared 125 on top of that would have been a nightmare, planning in a year to do my A1 after experience on the road and cannot wait
To note for any of you looking to do your CBT, some mistakes wont mean you fail! Keep your head up and on a swivel and youll be just fine! Good luck everyone
Hey big man, I’m planning to do my CBT as well I’m the same with you I have zero road experience, I don’t even know how to ride up bicycle on the road, I usually ride it on the sidewalk….. what is your recommend I’m thinking, should I practice a little bit with my bicycle on the road or I should straightaway go to the CPT?
@@sanchuntam9508 go straight to CBT but do it on a moped. Read the Highway Code a couple of times, go out as a front seat passenger in a car and watch, then do the quick road sign test and hazard awareness test on the government website. A lot of people on the road aren't following the Highway code anyway. Observation and keeping yourself safe is what you will learn. That is easier without gears. Pass, get road experience then do a gear conversion course of a couple of hours. Once you have balance, control and road awareness, the gears are the easiest bit to add. Hope this helps.
i think that would be best for me too most ive done is ride a push bike but still not confident on the road
Such a good instructor
i have my road test next monday on a z400 and im super excited and nervous. looks like more fun than anything though.
All the best bro! And don't forget to have fun! Get loose 😁
Great video. Very helpful
Just done my CBT didn’t fail but said i need a day 2 whatever thats means i think they just couldn’t be bothered to take me out as the other guy was not doing good at all
Love the fact you cloned my bike for your rides! 😊
13:24 Great bit of advice
Nice roads
At the very first roundabout he said turn left at the first exit but then took you straight over on the second exit. Is this because of your positioning mistake?
That is correct. 😅
@@AvenueBoyVlogs ahh okay fair enough, sorry it’s just I have my test coming up soon and my adhd brain needs to methodically known any kind of situation that may arise
It shouldn't matter, i've got ADHD and went straight on at a round about and we just looped back around. Might be a bit scary if its your first time on your CBT and a 125. I'd ask for an automatic because it's 1 less thing to think about.

you will be ok just keep calm and good luck@@andrewboltwood8614
@@andrewboltwood8614oh shit I felt the same 😂 I need testing for that
great
Defo very late now but you should have blurred your driving license number and other details shown in the video not sure if you can edit that now via youtube's system etc, alot of weirdos out there!
Paano po kpg nasisiraan sa UK? Paano po ang emergency ? Sa pinas kc khit saan ka masiraan kalat ang mga talyer
Kaya po may insurance mga motor, para pag nasiraan, may roadside recovery po or roadside repair na darating.
so this was 2 yrs ago so did you get your full licence ?
Yes I did. 😁
well done, what are you riding ? @@AvenueBoyVlogs
@@ransomedavis2208 If you look at my videos here, it's a Kawasaki Ninja 650 KRT
just checked out thats a nice ride mate, what do you think of the kwak ?you enjoying it ?@@AvenueBoyVlogs
@@ransomedavis2208 Enjoyed it very much bro, but to be honest, after 6-8 months of riding, I was already looking to upgrade to a thousand. Unfortunately, I had to sell it as I moved into a flat, nowhere to keep it.
hoy! arnel pineda! ang korny mo magvlog wahahahahah
I think every bike instructor follows the same script
I failed my CBT I can not ride a bike to save my life 😆
You kidding right?😂
@@AvenueBoyVlogs no failed dropped the bike and then crashed into the car on the side of the road 😅 he said bikes are not for you
Could have started with a moped first?, 😁
@@AvenueBoyVlogs yeah I'm going to do it again next month on a 50cc I hope I pass
@@jogalil Mopeds are worse
you need a lot of practice
Oh these were the days! I did need a lot of practice back then as it was my first time on a motorbike but I'm good now, 😁😁
Everybody should practice throughout their riding career. The learning never stops.
