I’ve just put the jbl in my Ute and they rock. I had always used pioneer but stepped out of the box this time. Got the 8” under seat sub too very good for what they are.
Great choice. The JBLs sound a touch better than the Pioneers...I was suprised too
I just want to say that you have a good ear for sound.
I just have to remember that the high Frequencies are what we want.
Always love your videos, but have to admit, when I’m working, it would be cooler if you could clarify more often which one you are testing or speaking about. It’s nice to listen to videos like this without having to keep up visually sometimes. Sometimes you talk about comparing them but I’m not really sure which one is which. You say “this” “that” and “this guy”. Not hating just asking
IMHO, the Skar is hitting the fullest range for tweeter and does it in a balanced way. The small ones hitting the highs yes but missing some of what it is supposed to have. The pioneer is off balance it hisses and isnt balanced across the range. That said the Skar has a much higher wattage, without us knowing the wattage you put in it is hard to choose for our setups.
When you finish with tweeter comparison you can do shallow mount sub unboxing it will great👍

Not really. That's not what how people buying these tweeters will be running it. The tweeter's crossover is a big part of how it sounds. So changing it from that would be a very bad representation of how it should sound.
@@krowwithakay crossing over at the the same frequency will represent same response for them so in a " comparison" this would be awesome for us active users and different applications like off axis placement

Next pioneer TS-20 tweeter
I'm running a set of 6.5 Jbl Gto components as my front door speakers in my Es350 with those same tweeters w around 60 watts rms to them and they sound amazing.. I'm also running a Polk audio component set in the rear doors, and their tweeters sound almost the same as the JBL's. But Polk's tweeters are a cleaner install and are more adjustable than the Jbl's.. I do think the Jbl's give a little deeper mid-bass in the woofers then the Polk tho.. But I have a rear deck sub so that doesn't really matter w my set up. If you get a chance check out the Brand PowerBass, They make nice stuff for the money and have a full 2 Ohm line up which is good for any one running a stock premium system amp like Bose Or Jbl cuz most of those are 2 ohm systems. I'm upgrading the speakers in my Bose system Pathfinder with them right now.

Yes 4ohm if you thinking to run them parallel to ur speakers and ohm drop dont worry ur amp doesn't feel tweeters that much u not gonna over heat the amp

I would love to see the Orion XTR 1.00TW. I have several sets, and have burned out more than a few. Pretty loud, and they are crisp, they just don't take the power I was hoping for. I have burned out a few sets, learning how to set up a super high power active setup. 1000 watts for a set of tweeters is total overkill. I've since learned to cross high, at close to 5k or higher, at a steep slope, 24db or better, and take it easy!
I wonder how they stack up to the competition. They are right at $60 for a set out the door with tax. I plan on two more sets, to soak up the over abundance of power on tap, and give the output I want without worrying about burning them up, keeping them playing at a comfortable power level.
Yeah I used to run my tweets @ 2500 with a steep cross. But now I like my tweets at 4500 with great results with current gain and max volume. Do you meet your mids with tweets at crossovers point?
All of the Orion xtrs are phenomenal
@@SifuBang At the moment I have tweets crossed right at 5k, 24db slope. The mids play 120hz(24db slope) all the way clear up to 12k(36db slope) before breakup. It's surely "bright sounding" and there is overlap. I've never clamped power from the mids and tweeter amps, but they do get good and warm if I play them hard for a while even with below freezing temps. I have them both running at their minimum impedance. The mids and highs scream, it's definitely more than enough. 😂 Probably too bright for most, but that's my preference.
@@OrionHCCC26 they are really good speakers. Super loud, play incredibly high, and clean and crisp. I send some crazy power to them, and they never stink, or struggle. They just play louder until your ears bleed. 🤣
@@georgesrisomsak9650 yup, I have 5 xtrs 6.5s in each door, and 2 tweets per door, with one super tweet above head, all Orion. They are one of the best for the money on my opinion.

I have arc audio black tweeters. Sq tweeters but those Gold dome tweeters Bzrk sound nice . I will try them out.
I think the Bzrk was better than Pioneer. Keep up the videos. Just compare how you do. Info is handy.

So many questions. What’s the wattage each tweeter? How many watts are you running through them? This seems to be an unfair comparison considering that if the tweeter is a higher wattage it might not be as loud as the lower wattage tweeters.

I wanted NVX, due to them being silk + would match the rest of my system, but they can't be found.
So,.... I already have a set of Rockford Fosgate I can use, or, I was looking at the SKAR TWS-01 or the SKAR Tx-T.
In my PT Cruiser.... Don't Laugh. Lol....
Mounted in the Front door main sail, Just in front of the window,....I plan on running them off my Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997 deck at 22w rms each ch , and a set of NVX NSP35 3.5" coaxial speakers in the dash running off the rear ch of the deck.
As well as (4) NVX NSP65 6.5" coaxial door speakers at 50w rms each off of an Kenwood Excelon X302-4.
And a NVX QBUS8v2 8" Powered Subwoofer under the front seat at 100w rms.
I'd really appreciate your, and anyone else's, opinion on which tweeters would be suggested out of my/those options.

No, deff Rockville RVL69W 6x9 $50 a piece but it's a mid range woofer 300w they bang. They are slightly larger than a typical 6x9
