  • This tractor compliments my excavator. For those of you unaware, I have purchased, at the edge of civilization in the Sierra Nevada mountains, 31 acres with three separate parcels, two of which I will sell to like minded individuals as a survival gated community should things get bad. At this point, I don't know what will happen, and I do remain optimistic. However, if they do, I'm covered with every resource required to live and thrive for a small unit of survivors. For instance, I have licensed appropriative water rights of 28 acre feet per year, which is 10 million gallons per year, as well as riparian rights. I have a 3 acre lake and a 1 acre pond stocked with bass, perch, and blue gill, and flocks of geese and ducks. I have wild animals abundantly. This property was a town sight in the 1849 gold rush, and it also has 20 acres of farm land with fruit trees and strawberry's etc. We will farm this with animals and crops.
I have a few inquiry's now from interested parties, but as it will be, too late is too late. If the store shelves are empty, what line will you stand in. Hey, if all goes well, then you have a paradise homestead! Win win either way.
I bought the tractor for my contracting business, so it can pay for the tractor, and this will also fund infrastructure that is needed for the ranching that will be done here.
I got the Kubota M7060 12 speed with all the bells and whistles, such as, 4&1 bucket loader on quick connect, forks, top and tilt controls for the hydraulic ripper scraper. It's a sufficient machine at 71 HP, and is a Cadillac in its class. Combined with my Case CX37C, this combination can carve a fortress into the earth for decades to come.

Hope so! I had the L48, and loved it. Right now, I got the top and tilt controls, three valves, and they are working very slow. The valve behind the seat does not speed up the movement. I'm missing something, gonna crack open the manual. The rams were back ordered, and the dealer made with some other ones. It was too short and when I was ripping it caused the box scraper to elevate 90 degrees and bend the ram. I hope it didn't damage the pto shaft. I wish they put the shuttle shift on the floor. I was told it was electronic, so I think that might be a cool mod, like the hydro stat lever does. Can't figure why that is not an option. I would have got the M62 had it had a cab. But so far so good. This think is huge, but I'm getting used to it. I use it to clean up after excavating with my Case CX37C it is a good team. I just did a 10 to 12' wide road on a hill side with two switchbacks in about 25 hours. Probably 1500 feet. Thanks for commenting! Appreciate your vids too!

@@homesculptor The valve behind the seat is going to be for your 3 point lift arms, what that is going to do is adjust the flow rate for when youre lowering your 3 point impliments, if you have something big and heavy back there you want it tightened up so it dosent just suddenly drop hard going down, if you have something light open it up so it dosent take 5 minutes to lower your landscape rake or other light impliment. as far as the cylinders being off i sure hope your dealer that sold them to you will own up and take care of that (they should) she shuttle on the column is hydraulic not electric as its a gear driven not hydraulic drive and is more designed for field type work, but i think once you get used to it you will love it, i prefer my hydro shuttle on the m series over the hst pedal on our l series.

@@HillsideAcres Yeah, the valve was in the front on my L48, and you could really adjust the flow. This doesn't seem to make a difference if its turned left or right. It's soooo sloooooow !!!!! There has to be another thing I'm missing. The one behind the seat has to positions only

@@HillsideAcres Yeah, Sacramento For Tractors is highly reputable. This is my 3rd piece from them over the decades. I've dealt with grandpa, dad, now Kris Adams the son! They are great. Although, the rams were back ordered, he did fix me up with these no charge! Not good dead goes unpunished I guess. lol

It's like a thumb on an excavator that is 6 foot wide. You can pick up piles of brush and pull lots a small trees and brush fast. Also, I picks up large logs easy. I put top and tilt and hydraulic rippers. Kubota was back ordered on the rams, but my dealer, Sacramento For Tractors, found some others to get me by. Although the ripper ram leaks down to fast. Today, they finally had to make the tilt ram which I'm on my way to pick up after responding to you! I can't wait!
