Hey yall! So, I finally made a video on how I do my senegalese twist. I had a hard time filming and trying to explain at the same time without making this video be 45 minutes long! I hope this helps. I am not a pro, but this is what I do and how I make sure there is no tension on my edges as well.
My sister said I sound a little negative at the end. That wasn't my intent. I sound that way because it had been a long day, and I tried the best I could with getting you all to see what I was doing as well as understand what I was trying to say in the video. So, yes, I was being hard on myself because I wanted it to be a great video!

Love this. I've always used Marley/Kinky hair for my twists never thought to use any other type thought it would look weird but yours look amazing! You did an awesome job! I love how they're not to big or small and your bun is on point!

How long did your twist last? Mine only lasted a few weeks i think what factored into that is that was i just got a relaxer.

Ummm....not too long. Maybe 2 hours?

I have not, but I will try it eventually!
I have to blow dry my hair is too kinky and I end up losing more hair coming then just blow drying

Not 100% sure because this video was awhile ago, but no more than 6 I think.
what brand of hair did you use? I want to achieve this look with Xpression hair but I was told that Xpression isn't the best gripping hair
Courtney Morris I've been using the Milky Way/Shake n Go lately. Its inexpensive and doesnt cause irritation which I'm having a problem with now as I type 😔. ((sigh)) Xpression is great bc it's soft ( in my opinion ) but it does slip at the roots. I don't mind it bc i like my styled a bit looser & I'm not causing extra tension!💜 Hope this helps!
Nice Job on the hair I experiment with my own as well, but I do have a question which is somewhat off topic. Do you do anything special to your nails in order for them to grow? like do you have a certain routine that you do or is it simply DNA
Simply DNA! I don't do anything to them. I've never worn fake nails, and I've only done gel/shellac on my nails probably about 5 times. This year I only had it done once. I have very strong nails and no matter what "they" say...all that stuff if just damaging.

I am a little late bit rubber bands always work to keep it from twisting off , by putting the hair in between the rubber band 😁 !
I love to watch my dark skin girlfriends to their hair I don't care if they twist pull it up whatever they do I love to watch it be done and I have hair to the crack of my tail all the way down to the butt crack that might be TMI but I'm just saying so I want to give my white girl opinion and I say this on every site because I'm constantly watching my friends and new people on CZcams I get addicted to watching them just like I have you now I've gotten addicted to watching you and I love how you slay that hair girl but please use a light background I don't care if it's a curtain rod you go by the dollar store for $2 if it's white or pink or green or yellow yellow would be perfect because most of the time you're dealing with dark hair but it wouldn't matter really it's just that we and when I say we I mean us white girls can see your techniques so much easier and we can see your products and the names of your products easier because you have to be fast a lot of you girls don't realize we're not used to using their products so it takes us a minute to see the name of it and I actually use the one you are using when I braid my hair but for those who don't you see what I'm saying? So you might want to take my suggestions and you might want to tell me that I can kiss your butt it's not my channel it's not for me to say but that's just my opinion and I'm trying to figure out how to do this and other things to my own hair and if I can't do it I share it with my dark skin girlfriend who can thank you and keep slaying that hair lady :) girlfriend
