Pile 3 here. Just wanted to thank you for something you said right at the beginning of the reading. For the past couple of months all the readings I watched were pushing me to let go of a particular relationship in my life. It was something that definitely needed to be done and I have finally managed to do it.
Immediately after that all the readings switched to saying I've just let go of someone, good job, but within a few days the readings sort of went backwards. They were saying I need to move on and it kept reminding me of this toxic family member and I was wondering if I still somehow had more work to do, even though I was sure I'd been successful this time.
But now you've explained the message. The thing I need to leave behind now is my comfort zone. I've heard that a few times lately, but I guess it took until now for it to really hit home. pile 3: i’ve had trouble letting go of my past self and my inner teenagers idea of happiness/success which would be to feel like i belong with people who unfortunately have had a really hard time accepting me and all my queerness. so i let go again (i’ve had to several times over about 13 months) and i’m seeing improvements in just a few days.
it’s about family, first loves and thinking that if i let go of hoping those things come back to me then what if i’m not prepared when they might return to me?
it’s hard to let go of people i care so much for, but letting go isn’t forgetting and it’s helping me to be the best steward of relationships i can be. so i will be in a better condition should they choose to return.

Been saying my “gift of the gab” is a blessing and a curse. Even my new career moves? Scary. Risky.. had it in my head I would be ruined for leaving the job that made me a server, but used my desire to move up to bartending to take advantage of me. I can feel that this is a field I’m passionate about - that it’s a catalyst to bigger stuff. After my hours got cut for being sick (like masked up still sent home then given a doctors note without asking sick), my hours were cut. Usually I’d find the servers needing coverage… last time this happened a year ago I got 15 hrs next schedule and covered so many ppl I almost got 40 but my manager said he was worried I’d burn out. Based on scheduling and behavior since, that was not the case.
Been trying to stay patient, but it’s more than clear now he was never going to book me regularly for bartending. And even if he did? I don’t wanna learn there. So when he cut my hours again I said I’m not doing it - those three days off I’m applying to jobs in person. First job I applied to, I’m hired and booked all bar. Tomorrow is my first solo shift without the “training wheels” my new manager gave me (where he clocks in to shadow me and help out but also ENCOURAGES me when I worry abt ticket times + technique).. been scared abt failing this opportunity I finally landed and making a fool of myself with the regulars at my old and current job, and industry ppl I’ve worked with… but this was assuring. I’ve worried on several levels about my ability to handle a crowd. Technique and memorization? A rabbit hole… but I got this. New job is a 7 min walk from the one I’m leaving, they know what’s up and I’m nervous bc I want my new manager & coworkers to hear me but see my growth.
