The year is... I've lost count. The boys still haven't returned. I think they're lost out there, or maybe I'm lost in here. I cling to a sliver of hope that we might see their faces again, his chaos blade, a buffed falchion. Dark, so dark. The bleak realization that the golden playthrough may never be complete.

+JordanD1337 I think there's literally only one more area in the game they can do, and it's the Kiln. Ten Black Knights all at once, five of them Black Phantoms, in a big open area frequented by PvP-lovers? Yeah it'd be epic. But a little bit short, even if (when) they die 100 times.
If they decide to continue the series once upon a time, Dark Souls 2 aggression-modded would be fascinating! I doubt it exists, but I am out of the loop in the modding scene, so who knows...

Peeve pulled his thorn armor off with a sigh of relief. Despite his orange charred ring giving him protection from the lava's heat, it was still a little hot in the Demon Ruins. From where he sat on a lava-burned shore, he could see the dragon butts grazing peacefully in the lava fields. Peeve suddenly had an idea. He took off one heavy stone boot and tested the heat of the lava by delicately dipping his toe in. When his skin met with the ordinarily scorching liquid, a shiver of pleasure went through his body. It was as he expected, the lava felt like a hot bath, just hot enough to be pleasing but not enough to burn. Deciding to try and not ruin the rest of his equipment, Peeve took off his Havel's leggings and placed his weapons on the shore. Now being clad in only his loincloth, he lowered himself into the lava. It was like heaven, which is kind of ironic since the Demon Ruins is literally hell.
"Nice day for a swim. (Mickey Mouse laugh)"
Peeve gasped and turned around. He was sure that he was alone. Suddenly, a head popped out of the lava right next to him! It was wearing that unmistakable Elite Knight helm, and there can be no doubt that the face it concealed was wearing a smirk.
"Brandon!" Peeve gasped, "I-I-I didn't see you there." A red flush of embarrassment went across Peeve's face. "It's not what it looks like, I was just-"
"Taking a bath in the lava? Yeah, I do that sometimes. It's nice to relax after wrecking scrubs in the forest. Pressing R1 all day gets tiring, I just need to relax my muscles, y' know?"
After saying this, Brandon stood up in the lava and stretched his arms wide, his muscles effortlessly bulging. Peeve took the opportunity to notice that Brandon's only article of clothing other than his helmet was a loincloth.
Brandon laid down next to Peeve on the blackened shore and put his hands behind his head. After a few moments of silence, Brandon casually flicked a blob of lava at Peeve's bare arm. Peeve blinked and turned to him.
"What are you...?" Brandon flicked a bit more. "Hey, stop it!" Peeve said the words angrily, but he couldn't suppress a smile. Soon, they were both heartily splashing and laughing.
"Hey, stop spamming, scrub!"
"No fair, you've got a helmet on!"
The two wore themselves out and climbed out onto shore. Exhausted, Peeve sat against a wall and felt his eyelids fluttering closed. The combination of the heat and the exercise had tuckered him out. Before he lost consciousness, his last words were "Hold me, senpai..." Brandon chuckled to himself and took off his helmet. His lustrous black hair flowed in the volcanic breeze. He lent down to Peeve's face and gave him a quick, furtive kiss on the cheek.
"Maybe one day, Peeve. Maybe one day."

They were the first Dark Souls content I ever watched. Back in the days of the Forest counter-gonk efforts and Peeve remodeling Anor Londo we looked on with glee. I still hear their voices echo. They are back for demon's souls but ARE THEY HERE TO STAY? WILL they play with ChaseTheBro and G9? Will the last-gen meet the current? Perhaps we will all march through Elden Ring together.

It's nearly Christmas and I'm here waiting for a true christmas Miracle.
This is my third rewatch of the series. It doesn't matter if there never will be an episode 11, this is the best thing Dark Souls will ever have.
I've been rewatching this series in the last week, and I will confidently say that without a single doubt this is the best LP in the history of video games. Please, please do the Kiln and finish the game; I would pay dollars for it.

My bones still ache with anticipation for the conclusion to what I know as the magnum opus of souls playthroughs. The sun hasn't risen in what seems like days. The frigid air arrests my lungs with every breath I take and I'm beginning to see red silhouettes in my peripheral vision. Is this madness? Surely a return and conclusion to this series will heal my ailed mind and warm my soul. Oro, Peeve, bring an end to this once and for all. I beg you.

This is probably my favorite playthrough of any game on CZcams.
It's an entire self contained Dark Souks story of Friendship, Betrayal, Hard fought battles, Mystery, and Twists.
People ask for an episode 11 but the only location left is the kiln of the first flame, so it wouldn't be much of an episode.
In any case, thanks for this brilliant series that I'll rewatch every year!

As Peeve and Brandon were laying in the field of orange flowers Brandon had felt a weird feeling emerging deep within his soul. He didn't quite understand what the feeling had been until he looked over at Peeve, what that weird feeling was is love. Peeve couldn't see that Brandon had been blushing under his helmet, Brandon had quickly gave a hug to Peeve, "I won't let gravity take you ever again Peeve!" Peeve looked at Brandon with a gleam in his eyes, "It won't but I wouldn't mind if you take me." Brandon was dumbfounded and at a loss for words the parry king himself proposing that offer. Brandon said, "Here are you sure?!" Peeve looked deep into Brandon's helmet slit, "Yes here no one will see." Peeve undid his leather straps and all his armor fell, Brandon just sat and gawked. "Here let me help you with yours" Peeve said as he slid off his Elite Knight armor. Brandon leaned in for a kiss and that's when it all happened. A mimic was sitting and watching, "Peeve should we do something about him?", "No just let him watch." TOO BE CONTINUED
