Underwater world of a flooded quarry | Mystical atmosphere | Freediving until the night

The abandoned Lipovsky nickel quarry in the vicinity of Rezh (Sverdlovsk region) attracts many curious people in summer. It is notable both for its depth and rich and dramatic history. The deepest body of water in the Sverdlovsk region was formed here. The depth here reaches a record 120 meters for the Middle Urals. Quarry water has an unusual turquoise hue.
Previously, expensive gems - tourmalines - were mined here.
In addition to beautiful tourmalines, there were topazes, beryls, amethysts, aquamarines and other valuable minerals.
It is a pleasure to explore such a body of water in diving equipment. For a long time, its own unique fauna has been formed here, a lot of fish, beautiful plants, an underwater forest. Swimming at night you find yourself in an extraordinary mystical atmosphere.

Мне нравятся такие места, но вот плавать там как то стрёмно было бы. Подводный мир завораживает.
