This was definitely my most challenging trailer video edit yet! It took way longer then I thought due to having to search through so many episodes for the right clips. I also had to create some custom green screen frames just to make some of the scenes flow and look better. Please excuse some of the really bad video quality too, couldn't find many clips that were high resolution. Let me know what you think, more cool stuff to come!

Man I was wondering if you would considering how challenging it would be to pull of such a thing for the Godzilla X Kong trailer, but yet, youve somehow managed to pull it off!
I was really interested to see what you would use for Skar King, and WOW.
1, I hadnt seen the Johnny Quest Yeti for over a decade, you just reawakened a hidden childhood for me, and 2, yeah that was genius.
I kinda liked to imagine this King Kong and Godzilla kinda existed in the same world, so cool to see them together.
Congratulations on another job well done, this one was incredible.
Lol I was actually really surprised I was able to find as many useful clips as I did. The biggest challenge was Suko so I had to do some digging and it brought me to Jonny Quest. Awesome cartoon! I liked the one from the 90s too. Lol yes that yeti looked terrifying and I figured that he would be the perfect skar king. I was very fortunate to find that little chimp in quest for suko as well lol. Me too, they look great together on screen. Thank you and thanks so much for watching bro!

Moste Welle Done Olde Sporte. It looks like it could be 1 movie. Good idea on editing the 2 scenes in 1. Reminds me of the Captain Harlock And The Queen Of 1000 Years with 2 shows edited in 1. You made the right move spending extra time looking for the right clips. I like the animation and how it looks better than that computer stuff they use now. Good synchro with the audio like the pointing and good flow. I like the lower resolution as it gives it a grittier vhs feel like it would be from that era. It looks natural in many areas. Nice job.

(In case you didn’t read my comment on Monster Island Buddies, I’m reposting my comment on Godzilla Minus One, here as well.)
Anyway, to answer your question, I have many reasons why I was disappointed in Godzilla Minus One:
It felt like the film didn’t have enough of what I wanted to see. The film was way too quick. Some scenes felt too quick. It didn’t feel complete to me. The scenes with Godzilla went too quickly. The destruction of the city happened too early. Too few scenes of Godzilla.
Godzilla felt like he had the least amount of screen time I’ve ever seen in a modern live action Godzilla film, even more so than Godzilla 2014 and Shin Godzilla.
The CGI on Godzilla was very mediocre. Maybe even awful. At times he moved very stiff and cartoonish. The rendering and compositing ranged from mediocre to awful, especially at the beginning in Godzilla’s early form, which looked pretty bad on the big screen. Some of the CGI looked like fanmade Godzilla animations on CZcams. One of the only realistic CGI I could find was the close up of a naval mine in Godzilla’s mouth in one scene.
By the way, Shin Godzilla had a lower budget than Godzilla Minus One, yet the CGI in Shin Godzilla was MUCH BETTER.
This movie felt like it gave me half of what I wanted in a Godzilla movie. I absolutely love the concept of Godzilla in WW2 or post WW2 fighting the military. This film KINDA gave me that, but not nearly enough of it.
Another minor issue (nitpick) I had was that the plan to defeat Godzilla scene happened a bit too early. I was hoping that Godzilla would fight more military before they came with this plan.
Calling this one of the best Godzilla movies ever is an overstatement.
There are many more problems I have. The film’s tone is not nearly depressing as I wanted it to be. Not enough disturbing imagery. Not as much dead corpses as I wanted. Not enough gore. And the worst aspect: it’s not even R Rated. So this is definitely not the dream Godzilla movie I was really hoping for it to be.
This did not at all feel like a worthy successor to the original 1954 film.
The tone of the film was not as dark and depressing as it should’ve been.
If a Godzilla film doesn’t make the audience coming out of the theatre feeling disturbed and/or depressed, like with the original, then it’s not a TRUE Godzilla film.
Maybe you felt emotion, but I did not. I never shed a tear throughout the whole movie. If this movie were to be as dark and depressing/disturbing as the original, if not even more, you know what Takashi Yamazaki would do:
Have Godzilla kill off the child (Akiko) or any/all of the people that Koichi was connected with, therefore making Koichi more depressed and angry, as well as the audience. To do it ONSCREEN would enhance that further.
Noriko should’ve died and stayed dead instead of appearing at the end with some dumb infection on her neck.
Heck, Koichi would die as well, by being getting radiation poisoning from Godzilla, therefore making the audience even more depressed since we ourselves connected with him.
That is what would make this closer in tone to the original than it already is.
But nope. It didn’t turn out that way.
I had REALLY high expectations. I expected it to be just as gritty and disturbing as the original if not more, but it wasn’t! I truly believe that people will watch this film again and again, in the future, and will start to see more of its flaws. The same flaws that I see.
Overall, Godzilla Minus One was a MAJOR disappointment.
I rate this film a 4/10.
Oh, by the way, because of my disappointment, I am making the Godzilla 1954 remake, which, in my view, is Godzilla Minus One, but actually GOOD. I will make it regardless if you want it or not. So, DEAL WITH IT.
Oh yeah okay, I don't think it's better than 54, that's still number one for me too but I still throughly enjoyed minus one and thought it was better then Shin since Shin didn't have much human development due to it being a very different film. I think Shin definitely had some better tracks in it's soundtrack though. No need to have an attitude man, you can like and work on what you want. I just watched GxK and enjoyed that as well, just wish the soundtrack was better
