I never meant to fall out of love with you, an original poem.
Breakups are hard and they are often hard to explain to people. There aren't always the right words to say, but sometimes saying something is better than no explanation at all.

The call I deserved but never got to hear. I could see how she was changing and leaving day by day but I could never truly know why. She tried to make me believe it was just a bad phase but in reality I could see how happy and different she was near other people. She know she was destroying me but it didn't matter to her as long as I was blaming myself. She convinced me she was not ready for a relationship and I told her I wanted to stay, but every time I tried to sneak out of her life she would blame me for contradicting myself. I was stuck between the thought of optimism and defeat, and I chose the latter because it was the only plausible option. She didn't even say farewell in the end, not even wish me luck, she just didn't want me to exist.
I play this on repeat when I do my early morning runs
Crazy to think this appeared on my feed and I decided to click. Hits hard because I never got to hear these words that I probably needed to hear so long ago...seems like a past lifetime ...Nice to receive it in spoken word poetry form though and shed a small tear for moment in time that seemed like an eternity ago. All I needed to hear.
No, I’m not ok. And I’d just like to say that..
Although I appreciate your kind words, they’ll never be enough to fill this void.
The one you left, while acting annoyed.
Cause you see, you never spoke these words to me. You never expressed this the loss in your heart, until, we were already apart.
You distanced yourself but still played the part. So I was non the wiser, and now I feel like an abandoned geyser, with no will to blow. No strength to go...anywhere.
Cause you see everywhere I look I’m reminded of you, the memories that I still hold true.
Somewhere in my mind you still exist to me, but the way you left things, you’re nothing but a ghost to me.
I miss you everyday and I hope one day I find the strength to say, I forgive you.
But I don’t. And don’t think I won’t, because I’m trying my hardest. But you meant the world to me and I had plans to harvest.
Those thoughts are gone now and I somehow feel like I no longer stand on even ground. So I’ll focus on myself and one day hope to be found, again, by you.
Because when I said the words “I love you”, I meant it. To the deepest parts of my soul, I don’t regret it.
So I’ll be here, let me know when you get near and we can try again. Until then, I love you. But for now I’m gonna steer clear.

True love never dies. You become complacid with someone but relationships take work. Nothing suppose tto be easy just worth it. And yes it takes both to do it not jjust one .i like the poem though bc he did give up on me.

i remember when i got this kind of call, damn it destroyed me to a million pieces. i cant believe that i invested feelings on that "woman" but my father used to say something to me "if you asked god to be stronger dont wonder why he gives you his toughest battles because in those battles we learn, every mistake we learn from them, and after those battles it will hurt but you will be stronger" or in the lines of that. that always motivated me in my lowest times, now i just focus on improving myself, improving my body etc. i hope every man/woman who is experiencing something will find the hope they deserve because there is always hope, dont give up on yourself kings/queens

How do a this happen? I’m genuinely curious, how do you just “fall out of love” with someone if they “didn’t do anything wrong”?
I am here only because I am feeling a bit this way rn. I think its because of external factors like stress from exams and meeting a lot of people or environment. Or perhaps its because its LDR as well.
Because you never truly loved them, you just loved their company and the idea of being loved.
