Low platelets | What are the symptoms? | What are the causes? | What should we do?
Normal platelet count ranges between 150,000 to 400,000. Human body can tolerate platelet counts of as low as 20,000. There are several common causes of low platelets which are:
1. Laboratory error (repeat CBC report if low platelets count is detected)_
2. ITP
3. TTP
4. Malaria infection
5. Dengue infection
6. Aplastic anemia

Yes hemoglobin is with in normal limit. Most of the time, low platelet count do not cause any issues

Agar app ko koi symptoms nahi ha, too platelet transfusion kee zaroorat nahi ha. Treatment is given if there are any symptoms to suggest bleeding etc. Low platelets kee treatment options ka baray ma, I will make a separate video

What is the most common cause of low platelets count?
