I love these types of animations because I get to play around with real life materials, which just brings me a certain type of joy. Hi Mapal,
One very important video I wish you create is a video in which you talk about the specs of of the ideal PC for for video editing.
It's a tough question cause it comes down to personal preference in terms of Mac vs Windows. Only thing that I think is super important is RAM and a decent bit of storage. If you do 3D work it might be beneficial to do a windows PC for some suped up graphics card.
Hello, what a good tutorial! I always want to see the result for longer... It would be great if you thought about doing a lopp of about 5 repetitions at the end of the video and being able to enjoy the result several times. It's just a suggestion.

I’d recommend doing it in davinci or whatever software you use. Definitely not Ae unless absolutely necessary

Honestly, pretty much the same way I made the main animation. All boils down to the same tools and processes

Want your thumbnail break down
Just messing around until something happens. I try to focus on text layout and colours and work my way from there. For this particular one I ended up printing out two of the shoes, slicing lines in the print version. One with horizontal slits and one with vertical and then I tried to braid/intertwine them. Then scanned it to add it to the thumbnail.
