More RPG Classes is an addon to the Spell Engine mod, the same mod behind the RPG classes such as Wizards, Archers and Paladins & Priests. In this showcase, we will be looking into Forcemaster, Berserker and the Water Wizard from Elemental Wizards.

Wait can I use regular axes for the berserker class or no
In the newest version of berserker 1.0.3 I gave vanilla axes the ability to cast spells :) Should work with swords, axes etc. now

While it's always great to see stuff using the Spell API, it seems like a lot of these abilities are just downgrades to normal attacking. While they might have slightly better AoE, BetterCombat gives a soft AoE to most attacks anyways, and killing one or two mobs in half the time of 4 just seems like a better option unless you're modding for diablo-like combat scenarios with hordes.
Obviously, this stuff can always be tweaked manually by secondary mods/datapacks, especially if damage scale configs are available, but that is a bit of a pain.
Had a look at the Elemental Wizards mod and it does have armor/weapon bonus configs out the box, so I take back most of my griping. Skill damage modifiers would be nice, though.

Damage of the spells can be changed through data packs and simply changing the spell power coefficient of the spell.
I understand most of your points and in the early game Wizards are indeed a bit weak. But later with more spell powers they can deal good damage. If spells are to good in the early game, auto attacks become obsolete. And I also wanted to stick to the balancing of the original RPG Series Classes.
Also most spells come with good effects, like the Bubble Shield keeping enemies away when they come to close, and Springwater heals you and allies and removes negative effects.
For the physical classes like the Berserker and the Forcemaster, the spells are a welcome addition to the auto attacks, inflicting effects etc.
I´m always open for feedback which spells are too weak 😄
@@denizqmk4538 the damage is balanced already keep the attack the way it is so that it is also balanced towards pvp as well
@@denizqmk4538 Ah, that's all good, then. Secondary effects are a good balancing mechanism, and I figure I'll be downloading it and giving it a go sometime.
I did see he was using the kelp wand on that beam attack, so it makes sense that the higher level stuff would give better damage.
I didn't watch the Forcemaster section much, and the only thing I'm wary of in the Berserker bit was the flurry attack. But, obviously, that was single target and just watching doesn't show all the nuance to the skills. I'm always happy to see new Spell Engine stuff since it's become my new favorite mod type. Obviously, you've tested it and I've only seen it at a glance, so I can't speak for it in its entirety.

The developer of the RPG Series Deadelus is currently developing a Warrior and a Rogue Class i think, so we might see it soon :)
