Hi Disney Dan! I’m a big fan, I went to spirit Halloween this morning and I got a “Bossk” mask from Star Wars. I love empire strikes back and the mask is a full head! If you got time you gotta look it up I’d love to hear your opinion!! Also I only got it for $20 on sale instead of the standard $65

When I saw that inflatable Grogu costume; the first thing that came to mind was “concerns, I have.”
Love the gloves on the Inflatable Grogu costume, they are so thin that it looks like you are wearing weird 3-fingered food safety gloves.😂
Also the Phineas and Ferb costumes are literally just clothes with a weird head piece, you could just buy a orange striped shirt and blue shorts and you are done.

Tell that to 13 year old me, lol. I crafted my own seagull wings and wore white feather boas and a beak mask-and absolutely nobody got it 😂 but I had a blast. Rest assured there was at least 1 really weird seagull-obsessed kid during halloween
By the way, Scuttle in the live action Little Mermaid remake is not a seagull, she is a gannet.
Yeah, I definitely know children who would go for a seagull costume.
When I was in college our ‘college and careers’ group at church was always put in charge of cooking/serving hotdogs at the trunk or treat. Our group leaders were a married couple in their mid 40’s and every year the husband would dress up as some kind of vaguely related cooking/food character as he worked the grill but the wife never would as it just wasn’t her thing. The last year I was in group the husband dressed up as the Swedish Chef with basically that exact costume and because our group raise enough money at a thing earlier in the year we made his wife dress up as a chicken and honestly it was iconic 😂😂😂

Some of my friends are professional cosplayers and I'm always in awe of what they create. They are the masters of Halloween.
It’s so funny you started with Elemental costumes, because I’ve been searching for a couple of months for official Disney ones for kids, which simply do not exist! My daughter wanted badly to be Ember, so I found the best Amazon one I could find (and we’re ditching the creepy mask), and I’ve been hand making the rest of our costumes to match! So she is Ember, my husband is Wade, and I’ve been left with turning myself into Gale! So your wish for a “farty cloud girl” has been our command in the making, lol!

On a random (but pro-queer) note, Disney has removed all “boys” and “girls” labeling from their costumes and made them essentially unisex, so anyone of any gender can dress up as any Disney character they want! Yay!
Scuttle is not a seagull in the live action version, it's a Northern Gannet. It's a pretty cool bird, they dive into the ocean to catch fish, it's pretty impressive to sea. (Typo not intentional, I swear 😂)
Even thought I’m going as Jane Seymour from Six the musical for Halloween this year, I dressed as Eda the owl lady and my sister as Hunter from Disney’s The Owl House for MNSS Halloween party this year. Gotta say, check out some of the unofficial costumes from The Owl House cause most of them are pretty good and that’s what we bought for our outfits.

i was scuttle a few years ago XDD,but i made myself more musical like,i painted my face white with orange around my eyes,orange lips an dmore a white shirt and pants with orange socks and pillow cases on my hands for wings

My kids picked Spinn & Ghost Spider from Spidey & His Amazing Friends but they are technically too big for the toddler costumes so I got the Miles Morales & Spider-Gwen versions of the suits in kids sizes and they don’t seem to notice the difference 😂

Great video Dan! I enjoyed seeing all the cool and cursed costumes, especially the Elemental ones. The Scuttle one kind of reminds of the classic 1970s anime Science Ninja Team Gatchaman also known as Battle Of The Planets, G-Force, and Eagle Riders [it's a long story], mostly the way the hat looks [although the Gatchaman's characters helmets look so much better]. While I can't go out to Trick or Treat, I've bought me some Reese's to eat at home. Speaking of Halloween, you need to check out all of the cursed Mascot Halloween costumes [and other items]! There's a ton, but I think the most interesting are the 1970s Jack In The Box restaurant paper masks. They made Jack, Hamburgermeister, Secret Sauce Agent, and Small Fry. The masks are actually pretty decent, but you have to punch out the noses seperately, which gives these masks a cursed appearance without the noses. There's also a Ben Cooper Halloween costume of Domino's Pizza's The Noid, and it's EXTREMELY cursed, as most Ben Cooper costumes tend to be. Speaking of which, the Elemental costumes kind of remind me of the Ben Cooper costumes.

What bothers me is how it's impossible to find any actual Sally cosplays in the like 50-80 dollar raneg, the few that exist... and her costume is so hard to make!
I was her one year (my grandma made it) but the design on the skirt wasn't the same since you'd have to put it on yourself, wayyyy too much time, so just settled for a typical flower design. Oh well

Why does the editor think Monica Rambeau is "cooler in the comics" if we haven't even seen her fully realized as a superhero on screen yet? The Marvels isn't even out. Also kinda odd that Dan finds it normal that someone would want to dress up as Moon Girl, but Not Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel, when the latter two are much more well-known and popular then Moon Girl at the moment.
