I love Jean Marsh. I'm just discovering the show Upstairs, Downstairs and she was brilliant. Looks like time has hardly aged her.
I had the GREAT pleasure of meeting Jean Marsh when she was promoting, "The House of Elliot" in 1992. She was so lovely and so very nice. There was a novelization of the "The House Of Elliot" and she autographed it to me, "With Love, From Downstairs." If there were ever a fire in my home, I would immediately RUN for that book ~~ she was REALLY lovely - that's the only word I have for her. ~~~~
What a woman. Lived thru the blitz as child. Became a talented writer, show creator and producer. How accomplished can someone be?
