I love the Peterson sisters. They are so cool and Vicki's a character. It seems that they would be very easy to be friends with. Susanna, now a wife and mother of two, never loses her class. So beautiful, and so respectable. How many of us are enamored of her? We all miss Michael Steele though. God bless her.
I get to work a lot with Vicki and Annette Zilinskas for the Bangles radio program I do on Sunday Nights. Let me just say that they are AMAZING people! Vicki was so thankful for playing her band Action Skulls new material. She's always so amazing.

I just love to watch Susanna play rhythm guitar. She doesn't shy away from bar chords, and Beatles songs don't follow the typical 3 or 4 chord harmony, they're slightly more complicated.
Mark Knofler from Dire Straits said that an accoustic guitar is a friend you have for life. So true.
And I love when Susanna brings out that little raspy in her voice.
So much you can take away from a simple Beatle cover on a radio interview.

Sue posted a video of her singing The Inner Light on her instagram the other day.
Michael surely would've chosen a song of George Harrison, cause in another radio show she said that he was her favourite Beatle. In this show she chose "Blue Jay Way".
She would be fantastic on "The Inner Light."

They had another female bassist at one time, but she split too. What's going on with them & bassists?
& I mean in the early 2000's.
They need Annette! She is the only bassist & harmonica player that gave them an edge. Micki was good, but they became more poppy without the rock. When they "Walked like Egyptians", it was more like a death march.
Instead of "Walk like An Egyptian", it should have been "Walk like if it was the Battan Death March", because that was the song that led to their demise.
I still love them, but they need to get it together & get Annette back or at best, hire another female bassist.
Annette has rejoined on a more or less permanent basis.
