TERYA [FRIENDSHIP]

BABA TOURE, our master, created TERYA [FRIENDSHIP] especially for AFROLEON, the celebration of the X Anniversary of BUMTAKA, bringing together in Leon (Spain) the greatest Malinke masters residing in Europe.
He named the performance TERYA to honor his friendship with these masters and with BUMTAKA.
Today we are thankful to be able to rekindle the moving moments we enjoyed during our tenth birthday.

Muchísimas gracias Bumtaka, Baba Touré y a todos los grandísimos músicos y bailarinas de Terya. Y a mi hermano Dani porque garcias a él os conocí y he podido vivir de cerca y conocer esta apasionante aventura que es la percusión africana. Es algo que como decís en el documental una vez que se vive lo llevas por siempre en el corazón. Como realizadora de cine y vídeo siento que he tenido la gran oportunidad de contar una historia verdaderamente humana, de colaborar en transmitir una serie de valores, amor y conocimiento con alma propia. Algo que importa de verdad y que hace mejor a las personas. Gracias de todo corazón! Yo tampoco lo olvidaré nunca. Si alguna vez volvéis a África llevadme con vosotros. "¿Nos vamos a Äfrica?"
