The OVNI 450 is the new version of the OVNI 445, of which already 46 units have been built since the first one in 2008.
Marc Lombard, who designed the original plans of this amazing lifting keel boat, has thought of new elements to give it a new youth.

All seems so sturdy and strong and then a flimsy bath ladder 😄 Why not copy the anchor locker .so open and turn out a strong feel ladder... I acceptc a free boat for the idea 🤪😄😄
For high lattitude sailing I would suggest a full cockpit tent, it allow for helming sheltered from hash weather, even at 60N this is quite nice. I love the dingy hoist, simplifying dingy launch. A possible kit for 395 upgrade ?

For high latitude sailing i would like to see an inside helm station. Its no fun when its 20 knts wind snowing and the temp is -10C
What about the keel? How heavy is it and how it keeps the boat from capsizing?
Lifting keel boats typically have ballast at the bottom of the boat to compensate, instead of in the keel. You can often run these types of boats with the keel up without any huge downsides.

I'm sure it's a real nice boat, but the interior looks like one of them new flats near Battersea Powerstation...
I am pretty sure that it is the through hulls and not the seacocks themselves, which are welded to the hull.

It's a 1103 Torqeedo electric engine.

@@pelkarob that's about 40% less than Garcia 45. How do they do that?
@@eduardgindin3763 it's more classic than garcia : no integrated doghouse ( it's an option) less space inside, no watertight double door, less insulation, no rigid external handrails and so on.
Ovni and allures are "small" Garcia or Boreal with less extreme program in mind - to my opinion

Well anyone looking at this boat in any serious way really isn't going to be looking at the curtains and is probably the last thing they are concerned with. 🤪

What no interior helm. Oh dear and good luck on your sales!!!!!!!!!
Interior autopilot control and chart plotter could easily be fitted ,interior helms are not all that useful ,if your sailing hard enough to be hand steering you usually need access to your lines at the same time .
How many yachts do have interior helm? 99% of the time yachts like these use autohelm or hydrovane steering anyway.
Nice exterior, but I'd order it with structural interior components only, so I may have that atrocious interior done to my liking.
I really hate dinettes. Such a waste of space. Give me a couple armchairs and a table. I get that they're convertible, but I have no need.

I think the boat is for those who like sailing in the outdoors. You can always get a sailing simulator for your computer if that doesn't appeal.
