  • A question that I often get asked is "how do you know if it's a real Micro Machines?" (Or something close to that) In todays episode I'll share with you my methods and show you the resources I use to identify which miniature diecast cars are in fact REAL MICRO MACHINES! I hope you enjoy
Here are links to the website I use:

Google lens can also be accessed via the normal google search. Click the button on the right side of the search box that looks like a camera and either take a photo or select a photo that you already have taken. This works on PC too.

Thanks for checking out the video. Just as a house keeping item. In the case of the Blue Shelby Cobra, you could go to the M2M and select "Deluxe" and you could have found the Shelby. I wanted to show you how to also use Joe's page because you can search by "year or collection". There might be a time when all you know about a vehicle is that its from 1989 it's marked Galoob and that it's red. You will need to go to Joe's page, select Micro Machines, go to the year 1989 and look at every picture of every set to find your car. It can be time consuming, but the information is there.

Might have to go through some of the cars I have as I reckon I have a few of them that are funrise cars.

I think the Funrise are the ones that look closest to micro machines.

I have a micro machine in its original box. It's #10 Aircraft II but when you turn it over it says #13 Aircraft II. Have you seen a box like this before. If you need I can send you a pic. Just give me your email address.

Yes, it's common for the packaging to have errors or misprints. They just seemed to use what they had available at the time.
