Lyrics
Oh, this thing called love
I just can't handle it
This thing called love
I must to get around to it
I ain't ready
Crazy little thing called love
Well, this thing called love
It cries in a cradle all night
It swings, it jives
It shakes all over, like a jellyfish
I kinda like it
Crazy little thing called love
There goes my baby
She knows how to rock and roll
She drives me crazy
She gives me hot and cold fever
She leaves me in a cool, cool sweat
I gotta be cool, relax
Get hip, get on my tracks
Take a back seat, hitch-hike
And take a long ride on my motor bike
Until I'm ready
Crazy little thing called love
I gotta be cool, relax
Get hip and get on my tracks
Take a back seat, hitch-hike
To take a long ride on my motor bike
Until I'm ready
Crazy little thing called love
This thing called love
I just can't handle it
This thing called love
I must get 'round to it
I ain't ready
Crazy little thing called love
Crazy little thing called love
Crazy little thing called love
Crazy little thing called love
Hey, crazy little thing called love

The young generation needs to discover Dwight Yoakam. He is truly one of the greatest singers and performers ever
Agreed 💯.
Would love to see him live in concert.
And that guitar solo!! OMG!!!
I’m 17 and know and love every song, none of my friends like his songs tho no matter how hard I try.
@@wesleyfann9376 Most of the young crowd is used to today's pop country. Dwight is real country. That's awesome that you're such a big fan. You're probably an old soul, like me
Dwight is in a class of his own. My No. I. Such a talented man. Top actor too. Luv Luv him. 🇮🇪💚🍀👍
Dwight is fantastic. A true country singer who can take any song and make it his own.
Grandma needs to watch this one again ❤
I think the Grammys owe our boy Dwight another one-for lifetime achievement overall…
I normally dislike cover songs, but he nailed it.
I love Dwight’s version as much as the original!
Are you serious
in the early 90's I was in Texas for a job. My workmate's ask me on a weekend if I could drive ém to a big hall where a country concert would be. I ask who it was: Dwight Yoakam...I never heard about that guy and I did not want to go to a country show. But finally they made me drive them. To my surprise, it was a great show and from that day on, I became a Dwight fan. A few years ago he did just two shows in Europe, I was at one of them! He is the BEST.
Lucky ‼️
Dances, sings, handsome expressions....Country Elvis 🤗🥰
Queen is amazing, but I love Dwight's version of this song. He makes it his own without mangling it. Great example of how to do a cover of a song.
All he had to do was sing in his voice and it was perfect
@Timothy Mckee totally agree, Stray Cats-Rock -A-Billy
Elvis !
Dwight is a perfect example of what country music should be!!!!!
@@cermak635 the song was written as a tribute to Elvis.
I was lucky enough to see Dwight in concert several years ago. It was the best concert I have ever gone to. Dancing, tight jeans, everything. Absolute perfection!
The way he can sing dance and play the guitar all at once is outstanding
Especially when he is lip synching...DUH.
@@shadylee1745He is singing here I am fairly certain.
@@shadylee1745 Everyone is lip syncing in music videos, as songs are recorded in recording studios, not on the set of a music video shoot. Have you seen his live shows? He does sing, dance, and play guitar at the same time.
Dwight Yoakam is just about the craziest thing called fabulous. Starting a line dance group because of him and this song. He has the music, the moves, and of course, the fun...
@Lora L. Of course Queen is Top class. But you can't say , superior to Dwight. Nor will will I say it's the other way round. Dwight is God gifted rare one too.
It's about who clicked with whom.
I swear by DY. It's happened naturally to me. It's like magic to me. I'm a Queen fan too. But Dwight us my Cowboy.
It's
Spot on! All round great performance. The twang, the moves! Dwight's got it all!
@Zosia "OMG"....YOU CAN GO AWAY WITH YOUR NEGATIVITY TOO !!!
@@aditiban002 comparing this guy to probably the greatest singer in rock history is pretty silly.
Amanda! Did you come up with the line dance !!? 😃
Well.... Hot Damn! I love Dwight's version of this song.
Two years after the king died
I. Esw.
And HOW MANY songs can we say that about...?
💙🎶😊Dwight Yoakam🎸🎵💚
LOVE to listen to him, LOVE to watch him...😘💕
Dwight did a terrific Job on Freddie Mercury song.
Love his sexy Moves and his Elvis Voice.
His moves! OMG! And that twangy voice! Love Dwight!
How about his version of “little Sister” 🎉🎉👏👏
I have a friend who is the absolute doppelganger to Dwight Yoakam of this era.
Dwight yoakam is right on!!
You're absolutely right..... Good afternoon how are you doing over there hope you're having a wonderful day it's a lovely day that the lord has made
Honestly, I know it's not his original, but he sings it best. That thing he does when he says "till I'm readddy" is just incredible.
Dwight is the man, Country, Rock n Roll, he does it all
Mary North but poorly, very very poorly
Queen does it all also
Classic country
@@matwu Well that just happens to be your very shitty opinion
@@matwu Go AWAY WITH YOUR NEGATIVITY !! NOT NEEDED IN OUR COUNTRY...BYE NOW !!!
Queen would be proud .
Elvis already channeled in. 🕺
Great Pèrformance. Dwight has his own style.
Really love Dwight anything he sings is wonderful
Love this cover!! Wow!! The dancers in the background making it look like a 90s Gap commercial!!! LOL
This song was used in a GAP commercial by the way. Dwight's version not Queen.
Maybe you seen that GAP commercial but forgot it existed. This it here.

Those freaking boots are amazing!
You gotta see this guy!!!He is true country!!!!!He is in Las Vegas, Nevada this month..Be sure to see him!!!WOW!!!!Gotta love him...He looks so good and those awesome clothes!!!WOW
This song reminds me of someone very dear to me, who unfortunately due to his severe trauma and mental illness can't be in my life anymore. ❤️
Love his voice ❤
The one and only true country and western star in existence!!!
Dwight is by far the coolest Country Star
Absolutely the best there is no question, he sings how i feel
I had no idea .. this is a Queen song until today. I love both versions
haha me neither!! ....I've heard the other version by Queen.... I just didn't know it was Queen.
Do you live on another planet?
@@andymcgill354 i love this dude, i love queen, how can someone not know this, maybe they are too young, i love all sorts of music - i love elvis, i love metal, i love anything that makes sense in my head - music makes me feel like me and there is nothing else in the world that makes me feel like me. I like lots of stuff. i love abba i love music that makes me love music, if they have a talent, regardless of what genre it it i will love it.
No, I'm black. do you how many black ppl don't know... any Queen songs?😂 I think my skin color is the reason for your rudeness @@andymcgill354
I think was the first Dwight Yoakam song I heard back in the late 90s
He is one of the reasons I took tap dance class all the way through high school and people who didn't like it was their own problem 😊
This one takes me back I miss 1999
I love the dancing.
Dwight still got it!!!
Dwight is the best cover artist in the business. He has a bunch of Cover albums.Incredible artist covering all genres of music masterfully. imho you cant beat Dwight
No one cooler than Dwight
I love Dwight and love all his songs and do most anything to go see him perform.
Dwight did a great job covering this Mercury piece. He is one of few who can do justice to this song.
North Carolina loves you 💙💙
Wish your concerts wasn't so far away Would like to see u in person love u as a friend and fan
He's so gorgeous😍😍❤👍👍one of the best country singers👍👍
The Genius that is Dwight Yoakam.
I wonder if Freddie would approve. I liked it, and I've been a fan of Queen since the beginning.
Agreed. Dwight did a great job!!!
I hear Elvis again l see Elvis moves, l wish this voice would release some music to accommodate what we haven’t heard yet, There’s so much under the surface.
The inventor of skinny jeans for guys. And he's been wearing them for years! MANY YEARS before they came into today's fashion! This is the perfect song for Dwight to cover! Suits his overall style and most importantly, his voice!
Fads look stupid on anyone but those who they aren't a fad to.
Skinny jeans = neutered males. Except when Dwight wore them because they weren't in style.
CV That's what made him stand out was wearing those skinny jeans at that time. Which back then you wouldn't be caught dead wearing if you're a guy. And we were always wondering how he could fit into them and how they weren't ripping.
I remember seeing him in concert and his jeans wear tan and you had to do a double take to make sure he was wearing anything at all
Boy i m old... skinny jeans were first used in the 70s punk rock era
The best country singer ❤️
greatest c&w singer period.
He really puts the hillbilly in rock-a-billy. He rocks too.
this song had me thinking about that Gap khaki commercial where they were country dancing...great song and great Gap ad!!!
He's so gorgeous😍🤠😍👍👍
ACC's #66 song of the '99 survey year. Dwight hit #12 in Billboard. God bless you, Dwight, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a blessed week!
Great tribute, Dwight! Well done!
Wow love you singing this song....what a hit....awesome....❤😊🎤🎶🎻🎸🎵

This brings back so much memories.
No 1 dances like Dwight.
But there ARE people who use the correct version of words when posting on the internet.
If Elvis had been born years later and been a country singer, this is pretty close what he would be like.
Elvis was born in Mississippi..moved to Tennessee and started out as a country singer. The grand old opry thought he was too far out for the times.
Happy belated birthday Dwight.
I just love to listen to this with my eyes closed and imagine im singing this song in some local pub.
Lol because of all the Queen fans giving this a thumbs down. This is great. That doesn't mean Queen isn't great, too. You go, Dwight! Ha ha ha...🤣
I have your Greatest Hits cd also but believe all your songs are number 1
country music has never left my humble heart....
Dwight is completely underrated. He’s greater than Elvis, Freddie Mercury, and several others combined. Period.
Oh yeah... That's why he is covering a Freddie Mercury's song :) Who decides who is greatest? Freddie worshipped Elvis, Lennon, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Liza Minelli, Ella Fitzgerald and Jimi Hendrix. Mmmmm... If you asked him, THEY were the greatest ones for him :)
So it's because of Mr. Yoakam, that for whole life I've thought that this was an Elvis song and not a cover of a Queen song done by a country artist.
I thought that it was an Elvis song at first as well!
because it was by elvis first but he never recorded it and then Freddie sung it then finally it was by him.
It was NEVER by Elvis. Freddie Mercury wrote it well after Elvis died. It was a Queen song from start to finish.
Kacey Ward Freddie wrote it in a bathtub in 10 minutes Elvia never even wrote it all rights to queen
@@TheRealDeal500X KACEY WARD, ELVIS NEVER NEW THIS SONG EXISTED!
His guitar is Devil! Love the tune.
DWIGHT YOAKAM MUSTACHE GUITAR MADE BY GIBSON....WAS $3000 WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT.
These comments gezz i grew up watch him and many others i like it more now because im older takes me back to the good days
If anyone confused Dwight Yoakam or Freddie Mercury for Elvis, the King never recorded this song. It's a Queen original and a Dwight Yoakam cover (Quite honestly, no disrespect towards Freddie, but I grew up with this version and TBH, it's the one I prefer. Just my opinion. I respect yours).
Dwight DID cover Elvis at least once from what I know. That was Suspicious Minds. He also sang Buck Owens' Streets of Bakersfield with Buck himself.
This is an amazing remake that I'm fully convince Freddy Murcury would have freaking loved.
I doubt it
This is the Bakersfield sound of country.
2018 still loving this song 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Donna Marie Pszoniak es uno de los mejores
mannnn, the awesome Dwight Yoakam! love this amazingly talented super star! mesmerising! 😄
Makes this east coast girl, swoon.
Dwight 's the best💕💕💕
Like the great Freddie Mercury said himself, "There can be only one".
You truly are the smartest one here
Matthaeus Witacre he is true tho
I like Dwight's version of the song, but once you see Freddie do it, everything thing else is a let down.
That's from "Highlander". Queen did the songs for that film, but none of them wrote the movie.
@@Moviefan2k4 Sorry for the late reply, but yes it is, from the song A Kind of Magic. Yes, Queen did the songs for Highlander, which I am still to watch.
He's so damn kool
Some darn fine Guitar right there
This is definitely a great cover of the classic Queen song. Dwight definitely does it great justice.
Elvis
@@johnathanwright8948 it was written by Freddy in 1979. Elvis died before it was written.
@@jonsparkman8221 Freddie wrote it as a homage to Elvis and rockabilly.

This country version of Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Dwight Yoakam is a sensational sounding love song.
The only Dwight song played on pop radio.
Queen song
Like the great Freddie Mercury said himself, "There can be only one".
Elvis never even recorded it.Freddie wrote it has a tribute to Elvis.
Ready FREDDIE!!!

Great cover of a great queen song
Bravo 😊❤👍🎶🎶🎶
He could sing the ingredient list from a cereal box and I would be mesmerized
❤❤ ❤. I Love You Very Much. Dwight Yoakam ❤❤❤❤❤
If I ever won't the lottery the 1st thing I'm doing is hiring a person get a pair of jeans to tailored to fit me like that. Elvis was the king of rock, Dwight was the king of country to me.
Dwight, you are awesome. Only just discovered you on you tube 🎉
He’s just as talented a film actor as he is a country-western singer.
Ready FREDDIE!!!
Still the man!
LOVE them "ridin' heels"
You are a Rock Star. I love your Music
Good 'ol country music.
Dwight Yoakam is great at cover tools he puts his own twist on them
Who in the world is better than this guy NO_ONE love it! Thank you Mr. Yoakam!!!!!!
gloria shaeffer Freddy mercury
Michael Jackson, elvis Presley, Freddie mercury, boy George, frank Sinatra, George Michael, and finally but not least my 5th favorite Prince.
LOTS of people are better.
gloria shaeffer Freddie is.
Dwight’s the best country❤
Dwight did great justice to a great song!!
Freddie Mercury would love this so would the KING
All are great artists that mesmerise you
The king? Bwahahahahaha. More like the hack.
No they wouldn't
Elvis died before this song was made. Sunrise had a impersonator elvis.fandom.com/wiki/Jimmy_%22Orion%22_Ellis play this and other songs as Elvis
@@jerrymacdonald135 THIS WAS WROTE BY ELVIS AND QUEEN DID A COVER OF IT
I saw him perform this last month. He's still got it.
Everything he plays turns into gold
This is amazing. But Queen is legendary.
Dwight did this song justice... He channeled Freddie!
