Been listening to the Red Album today while out doing errands. Sounds fantastic. The drums and bass sound so clean and fresh with these new mixes.

Yeah I was referring to Digi packs. Your right, the sleeves do have the LP element.
That they do. Digi packs are terrible. Cardboard and plastic. But the Digi sleeves are great. They have charm. Far more than jewel cases too.
I am tempted to get the 2023 box set of CDs from Japan, I just have to single CD releases with out the nice box. Japanese SHMCDs are very nice quality, I do have the 2010 issues that way. My 1995? set is same as yours. thanks for sharing take care

I'm waiting to purchase the CD Box Set 2023. I'm in Australia and patiently waiting.
In a general sense,
im not a big fan of Digi packs, after a while, they go all soft and squishy.
I love the Fat Box editions, they feel email and Secure and it's like they are saying "look at me, I'll fill Beatle Dustinos hole on CD Rack'.
I love digi sleeves. They got personality like LP jackets. Yes the do need a little more care, but I always feel it is correct packing for CD’s. Digi packs on the other hand are terrible. The plastic tray glued to the cardboard. Why? However I have several 20 year plus ones in my collection that still look great. It all comes down to how it’s treated.
Did Beatles shop give you a reason for the delay of 2023 CD Box Set??

I heard it was a delay in the US. I never heard why specifically. Just know other US based CZcams’ers said the same thing happened to them.
Well heeeeeeeeeey again my Dustino friend. You mentioned a delay for your CD Box. I too am waiting. I check on Beatles site and U Discover every day, I wonder what the delay is??
I ordered mine a couple of days after the initial preorders were up. I guess all of the U.S. got delayed CD boxes. Why I’m not sure. I would think if you recently ordered they shouldn’t be. But it is possible.
I want to order or even pre order, but at the moment, it's not just me, anyone else can't order either?
It might be sold out. I believe the box was limited edition.

Is weaid.....over here in the UK 🇬🇧 they sold out pretty quick...now the box sets colour vinyl and cds are easily available again

I think the 3 vinyl set is purely for colletor status.
At least the cd 💿 set is gonna have all the correct tracks running in the right order....enjoy 🎄🎅

I'm back into completing my CD Beatles collection. Currently, I own the original CD's from the late 80's, the Red & Blue Fat Box, Singles and EP boxes and the 2009 Mono and Stereo boxsets (add to that the Capitol Albuns Vols 1 and 2 and the US Albums boxset) - And, of course, the Super Deluxe boxes for the albums already released. I've never had the 2010 version of the Red & Blue because I already have the songs in the Stereo (and mono) boxes. Now I've bought the 2023 edition for the mixes.
I'm going back and forth if I should get the 2010 red & blue just for the sake of completionism.... your thoughts on that?

Good question. I honestly would have skipped it on initial release based on that, but I found them at Best Buy for $10 each when they were first released. Now as I’ve got older and the collector in me has went into full swing, as a completest I’d say yes. If you’re not a completest though, especially considering you have the ‘94 fat boxes and the ‘24 remixes, I’d say no. The packaging is exactly like the ‘24 for the most part. And the mixes are just the ‘09 ones. However if you were going for the vinyl version of that release I’d say yes. I know the European pressing is one of the best of those.
I don’t get why these are an online exclusive. The only difference between this and the ones they everywhere is that white box. Can’t be that hard to produce
I’ve been trying to figure that out too. Most people are going to buy both. Why not have and option with them packaged together.
It’s a pity they didn’t make the album sleeves a bit different to the 2010 sleeves.
My one gripe is that Lennon’s 70s demos are not Beatles songs!!!
I sorta wished they would have just renamed the to The Red Album and The Blue Album and dropped the years. Makes no sense that a 1970’s demo that is worked in the 90’s then finished in 2023 is on an album titled 1967-1970.

My biggest disappointment of the Red album is the exclusion of Rain.
