A short video containing a powerful method that enables level 1's to harvest treasure chests in the open world and send the gold and items to their mains to vendor or auction. This video was inspired by a video by Manlet Gaming.

YOU DO NOT NEED TWO PAID ACOUNTS TO DO THIS. You can do this on ONE account. You can open two CLIENTS with two characters on ONE paid account. The client is the program which plays wow. Please no one make me write this out again.

@@turiiya1921 You literally just click on the battlenet icon twice. You'll get two log-in screens in separate applications.

People, this is fake news.
A good farm right now that I use is farming Kolkar centaurs in Barrens for the Kolkar Booty Key. The chest that the key is for never despawns so as long as you can keep finding the key you can reopen it. It almost always has a green inside and frequently has recipes.
Yeah I've been doing that one forever great farm.
For reference, it has a guaranteed uncommon item in it, this includes white shoulders and bags.
You should make a video about Small Egg farming in retail for gingerbread cookies. Made 1k in 10 mins just from killing dragonhawks outside Silvermoon, that stuff sells instantly.
It does but you could make more just running the motherlode (at least until you hit instance cap). Its a nice play but one for a specialist gold channel I think. I do like the way things sell instantly now we have cr ah.

This is what the rogue bots are doing, they fly under the map and loot chests around the world
Great abuse of the evade mechanic! I always thought a player close to another that’s in combat, when looting a chest, puts that same player in combat. I only play in parties, so likely it has something to do with that, or even specifically the evade mechanic which cancels that whole occurrence out. Thanks for sharing

yeah its likely cause you are in the party because people ninja chests from others trying to clear the mobs around them all the time you are likely i combat still with whatever your party is fighting at the time you tried to loot
Anybody who tries to loot a chest with mobs around will be put into combat regardless of being in a group or not. The evade mechanic seems to bypass that though, so definitely a neat trick!
@@mrtruthsayer7872 pretty sure that only happens to certain mobs around chests and only if they are currently not in combat like chests will agro nearby mobs when you start looting them
@@TWEAKLET any lootable item you can interact with has that mechanic. If you try to loot while mobs are nearby (regardless if they are in combat or out of combat) it will place you in combat with them.

Im lvling with a rl friend and when we see a chest we disband the grp, he kites the mobs away and i loot the chest. If the items are of useful for us we use them if not we sell em on the AH and share the value 50/50.
Yeah this is basically that only for people without a trusted partner... unfortunately many players aren't as fortunate as you in having someone to share stuff with.
I do the same thing in my lock suing my VW.
I can think of a few places (namely a few dungeons) where when they open up this will be hugely beneficial and also how to keep the pacification permanently on but for this you don’t need 100% up time

The chest in Northshire can be looted from atop of the tent....but you are explaining a neat trick.
Yeah I mean you can even just blunder in and kill the mobs around pretty easily with some classes...it was just for illustration purposes. really.
works as long as the mobs are not casters or have ranged attack
Is there a way to import these chest spawns into gatherer addon so you can track their locations in game?
Hi Edy Gatherer is weird it only tracks things where you have been to that location and it isn't dynamic it just does this "a chest can spawn here" thing. I dunno how useful that is really. I think there are fundamental barriers to tracking chest spawns dynamically with adds-on.

Probably not. Difficult to find anything in a game Blizzard have had 20 years to fix.
Went straight for the chest. Picked it up on 2nd reset or something when i randomly checked in before the nerf. Got me a 4g headstart which was great 😊

Your leveling guides and strats are always the best. Still maxing out 70s on retail. It's a nice easter egg when you show the leveling spot. I remember you had a Winter Veil PVP guide last year or something. My retail bud is still ahead of me with 44 70s but my alt army is gaining gold and levels. @@archvaldor

So tired of people crying about everything being griefing, people really need to grow a pair. We have players claiming ganking is a act of griefing in classic and even retail.
Yah I agree but I have to make people aware of the risks even if they choose to take them.

This reminds me of Diablo 3 release where the game was so difficult that people would run instead around the level with a whole bunch of chests and no mobs to farm gold.
Probably best for bot farmers with multiple accounts for normal players questing or doing on of the gold farms is higher gold per hr
I doubt that would be the case if you are auctioning the higher value items. The easier quests might be better for raw gold in the short term but there's a strictly finite number of them.
Also alot of noclipping bots are in the area, and has been since release of sod

the best way to make gold is to get level 25 and do quests- instead of XP- they give you gold as a replacement. Cheers...
Questing isn't efficient as a gold-making method. Wow quests involve a huge amount of travelling and/or low drop rates. Most of them are inferior to grinding mobs for gold let alone something like this. Just because something is obvious and/or simple doesn't mean it is better than something more complex.

i don't even open lv25 chests, they suck
90% of the time you get crap. Then you get something cool and it feels like a goldmine.
Hey, been watching your videos for a while. Bit of feedback: personally I prefer using techniques that don't have require much setup. For example, using the warlock portal pvp talent to drop people off the edge of battlegrounds.

For most things you need to at least level a character in vanilla wow: you can do this with level 1's. This exploit is unusually little work for vanilla because of that. Even if you have a potato vanilla uses so little memory it puts no strain on your comp.

@@archvaldorhad lucky drops "of the monkey" that sold for 10 gold each plus lots of perfect deviate scales selling for 1g each. Vendering the rest.
@rubens4318 not talking about chests. Elite mobs in WC drop perfect deviate scales. I've been lucky having 3 to 4 drops each run. I'm averaging 6+ gold each run of WC. Did tons of runs. My pet is a great tank and dps

Why can't people just play the game the way it's meant to be played. To me this is just like stealing in real life and trespassing on someone's land but in the game you're not supposed to be in the higher content. I get it just a game but that's not the point. Blizzard should check all in-game items and ban accounts that have obtained anything higher than intended calling that exploits.
First the chests no longer spawn in hi-level zones so the point is a bit moot. But in sod there is no "the way the game is meant to be played" as such: It is not og vanilla there are other servers for that. Whatever they put in this version of classic is the way it is meant to be played.
And ppl wonder why the server will be dead in a month lmao
