      This, who can forget the 2008 UCL final in Moscow had a KickOff at 10:45PM local time, which is unheard of, by the time FT, ET, Penalty Shootout and Trophy Presentation was done it was 3AM in the morning

      Do those countries produce any value to cricket. Neither do they play good cricket nor they have any market . Money produced in Indian market is so huge that all those countries get nullified. So it is obvious that all things are made up to please Indian market. Look at the timing of Indian matches, look at the grounds selected in America for Indian matches all in New York to be at the center of the 37000 people. Even in super 8 all matches happened at 8 pm , can't u see that everything is pre decided. except the results of the matches.

      There is not a single India match that's happening at 6 am IST.
      The whole reason why South Africa and England didn't know where they were playing their SFs is because they had to wait for India to qualify, since India were going to play the Guyana 8 pm IST semifinal no matter what.

    It's not done so for bcci or Indian team. It's for the broadcasters to make money and when they're paying top bucks they're entitled to their demands. It's that money that's funding all the associate nations. So if you want matches to suit uk time, be ok with playing an 8 team WC

      @@physco4641 I just checked to get a sense of this, in 1986 the Football WC was played in searing afternoon heat and high altitude of Mexico City to accomodate TV Schedules. This was not uncommon practice. The global popularity of football allows more consideration these days as the viewership is more evenly dividy

    Then ask your country's broadcasters to pay the most. Its a money controlled sport industry. If mancity, chelsea, and epl clubs spent the most money and get the best broadcast deals from sky bt and amazon instead of league 1 and championship clubs its not an issue but when asian countries do it its an issue😂

    Doesn’t seem to be particularly well marketed either. Where I am (UK) there aren’t any highlights on CZcams, which is unlike pretty much every major sport out there.
    ICC seem to be way behind when it comes to things like this.

They don’t put it on CZcams ON PURPOSE. They seek to get revenue and sell the highlights to different sports channels. Think like a businessman mate.

      ​@@TheDPgamer5 min highlights for even banger of the matches. and we don't yet have 2015 official highlights. and 9 min highlights for some of 2023 world cup matches and that's about it. I wanted to watch 2003, 2007, and many old world cup matches in long form highlights, like say 45 mins long, but could not. ICC is scheduling tourneys like there's no tomorrow, without looking at outfields or pitches or stadiums and hosts being properly prepared for the tournaments, we will surely see the peak clownery next year in champions trophy. full form of ICC should be International Council for C-nting cricket. when English or Australians had upperhand, they were a suck off to them, now they're a suck off to BCCI/revenue. (still their love for English hasn't changed much either)

Caribbean t20 cricket generally gets the most support at night where it comes to life . day games will be empty and then u guys will complain why are the stadiums empty . some islands dont have the leisure of filling up at any random time due to the populations . only trinidad , Jamaica and maybe Barbados can (English and other tourists inc) . with that I also think icc messed up with the pricing , venue support , placing a wc in the rainy season and a few other things

    Every team has to face a set of pros and cons in this tournament only 2 team played completely in West Indies where it actually matters which England and Australia they got used to conditions very well, on the other most of the teams have play in US especially New York where even the average bowler could mess up top bowlers.

    Everything happens what BCCI want thats what ruined cricket. They knew india always wins in group stages so they make ind vs aus earlier so it will create less chances that aus meet them in semi or final. Secondly, It's not a coincidence that india already played 2-3 games on the particular ground where they will play pak and pak havnt played on that ground, even one match. Thirdly, look at the venues india playing against the teams that dsnt have the advantage as india

    Guys Indian broadcasters paid 3 billion dollars for the rights. Ofcourse they will cater to the audience from the subcontinent. Thank the Indian audience for effectively paying your salary. Without India you guys will be without a job and there won't be any T20 cricket world cup and cricket as a sport would be dead without the people of India who love the game and have kept it alive.

    What should the ICC do if the only major market that happens to enjoy watching cricket is India?
    Can you honestly say that more than a handful of the English or the Aussies are even aware that a world cup is going on?
    Should the ICC focus on the 4 guys from England and Australia who'll probably watch the game if there is no football or on India where they know millions will watch it?

    It is not to Indian advantage it is for ICC advantage to make money. Our players constantly suffering is sun, they should have got some night matches.
    And ICC have not payed any attention to travel. How fans are going to travel to other stadiums. They are giving cold food to teams.
    ICC is making all the money giving terrible pitches. We can’t say ICC favor India. They make money off Indians fans but don’t give anything in return or does not pay attention to comfort of Indian players and fans who are there to watch. See the ticket prices and hotels, travel fare

It's a prefixing and the same has been done in the case of WC Semis and that's been cried about in English media.
