Actor Iain Armitage talked to Ellen all about playing the kid version of Jim Parsons in "Young Sheldon," and what it was like meeting Oprah for the first time.

Also, I’d rather a child have this character while young and formulate his man hood or masculinity around how he Carries himself now.
I am shocked by the way this kid talks. .he is so comfortable talking in front of a lot of people, he is well articulate and smart. A little annoying for me because he is egocentric but very cute.
I am loving Young Sheldon so far and it's great seeing Jim Parsons and Iain together in the same room. I hope Young Sheldon lasts for a long time because the first episode was so funny and thoughtful.
I️ love how Jim just lets him talk the whole time lol but he’s literally only like 9 and for him to have that much confidence in front of audiences like this when young sheldon isn’t even in front of an audience you can’t hate on him for it I️ think it’s adorable most 9 year olds would be bouncing up and down the walls and I️ would know because I️ have a sister who is 8 years old but same difference ya know kids are full of energy and he handles himself very well

He's so cute, and so smart, he is the perfect little actor, and the perfect young sheldon, when i first watched this show i was like this kid is so talented, i love how you can just see what he's thinking when he's in character.
I enjoy and love Young Sheldon so much and the cast is incredible and i was so happy Jim Parsons was producing and narrating Young Sheldon as the adult Sheldon 😊😃

I have a godson who went to a birthday party and met Iain. Our friends said he is "exactly" like the character in real life. Quirky and very personable. He wore tap shoes and a bow tie to the party. They said he was extremely nice
