Yeah the dealer cranked my oil filter on my Exmark with a Kohler and when I changed my oil it shifted my oil filter adapter which caused a leak so I had to take it to my mechanic he had to take the adapter off and change the gasket so yeah don’t over tighten.
Be careful about that so called 300 hr oil…I’ve heard of engines being ruined because the oil breaks down long before 300 hrs. It’s been called a gimmick. People see you going home at 5 or 6 in the evening and they think your day is done. They don’t know about the relentless maintenance that needs done.
